fascinating location, just outside ancient walls of Roman city Londinium
"latte" option of free coffee machine on 4th floor ran out of milk for a few hours, but not a complaint because coffee was free and beans were unlimited. on further reflection, it was probably a good thing that milk ran out, because I'm trying to go vegan.
Großartige Lage. Eine unkonventionelle Einrichtung. Zimmer sehr sauber. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.
Polstermöbel im Speisebereich teilweise arg verschmutzt. Sollten dringend gereinigt oder ausgetauscht werden.
Great place to stay
das Hotel liegt nahe der Tube-Station Aldgate East (knapp 5 Minuten Fußweg). Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und die Einrichtung hatte viel Charme. Beispielsweise die Lampe, die am Fußende des Bettes befestigt war oder die Regale, die wirken, also ob sie selbst gebastelt wurden, haben uns sehr gefallen. Die Dusche war schön geräumig, was in London eher unüblich ist.
Der Kaffee hat uns leider gar nicht geschmeckt bzw. war er sehr geschmacksneutral. Das ist aber auch der einzige Kritikpunkt, des es gibt.

The maintenance is horrible
Airconditioning and lights didn't work... in a room without a window that is just not done.
We changed rooms 3 times every time something else didn't work... we stayed for 5 night ... eventually we give up... at the end we asked for a late check out and they approved ... we have lost many hours and energy due to poor maintenance and management!
