A great find, in a peaceful setting.
Pros:

Tasteful decor. Welcoming host. Good food. Very comfortable bed and bedding.

Cons:

Low noise from the shop next door's refrigeration fans (we were in a side room). They weren't overly loud, but if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs. Would have liked to have had the option/means to adjust the temperature in the room.

Pros:

The main positives were the pleasant decor, and the shower with proper water pressure and temperature retention (a rarity throughout the majority of Scotland).

Cons:

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with a few things, the main one being our room (#2) was situated right by the shop next door whose fans were incredibly loud and persistent, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Closing the window didn’t help with the noise, either.

Other rooms may very well be lovely, but this is the hand we were dealt.

Clean and comfortable. Staff very hospitable. Plenty of breakfast choice. Great location for visiting Balmoral and Glamis Castle.
