Pros:

I liked the location. It is in a quiet area of Bern and close to the station, 15 Min. on foot or a few minutes by bus.
The room and the communal shower were very clean. And at breakfast there was a great choice of food.

Cons:

For my liking the mattress was too soft. The room was quite small.

Great stay at Hotel Marthahaus, great staff and convenient for exploring Bern
Pros:

Hotel Marthahaus was very clean, the bed was comfortable and continental breakfast was good. The staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. It was close to the bus stop for the Bern railway station and a nice walk to the old town. There were a couple of restaurants nearby and a supermarket.

Cons:

Shower was a bit small for my husband

Angenehm und empfehlenswert.
Pros:

Das Zimmer war zwar klein, hat aber alles enthalten, was üblich ist. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, eine schöne Auswahl von Allem und das dunkle Brot war wunderbar!
