Due to road constructions in the area the best access to the hotel by car is from the exit Bern-Wankdorf and the streets Winkelriedstrasse / Standstrasse / Nordring.

Good breakfast. Helpful friendly staff. Only a couple of minutes to bus stop. Kitchen facilities for eating in. Very clean. Quiet. Would recommend. Near the city, the river and botanical gardens.
The room wasnt ensuite but always available and clean.

Great place to stay! Special thanks to the receptionist, Martina Kellerhals, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional despite being very busy.
A big advantage was the sink in the room, which made up for the lack of a private bathroom and made the morning routine much more convenient. I also appreciated the powerful hairdryer (much better than the typical weak hotel ones), the tasty breakfast, the convenient location close to the city centre, the available iron, and the small guest kitchen.
A lovely extra touch was the complimentary coffee, tea, drinking water, and sweets available throughout the day in the refreshment area. It was a thoughtful gesture that made the stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely rate it 10/10!
The room was spotless, as were the shared shower/WC's (which were only shared by four rooms). The breakfast was outstanding! Friendly and helpful staff. It was especially appreciated that drinking water and a sophisticated coffee machine (make your own espresso/cappuccino) were available free of charge in the lobby 24 hours a day.

L’accueil très limite du personnel, la température des chambres et la non flexibilité du personnel alors que l’hôtel n’était vraiment pas complet. Ma chambre était au 5eme sous les toits par 36 degrés.

La gentilezza della signora alla reception. Ci ha accolto calorosamente dandoci tanti consigli utili per la nostra visita a Berna.
Purtroppo non c'erano più posti disponibili nell'hotel al nostro arrivo. Tuttavia, la receptionist ci ha indicato come ottenere un posteggio nelle vicinanze.
Im Zimmer bei der Ankunft einen laufender Ventilator zu finden und ein abgedunkelte Zimmer, um die Hitze die seit Tagen in der Stafz war, erträglich zu machen.
Sehr freundliche Empfangsmitarbeiterin, die unsere Fragen zum Aareschwumm beantwortete.
Alles von der Ausstattung war durchdacht und es war eine Freude zu sehen wie Teile des schon älteren Hauses erhalten und super integriert worden sind. Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder, sollten wir in Bern eine Übernachtung brauchen.
Auch die Gemeinschaftsküche, die wir zwar nicht in Anspruch nahmen, ist ein tolles Angebot das ist sehr gastfreundlich (für Deutsche ist die Schweiz ein eher teures Land) und ungewöhnlich.
Inklusionsbetriebe unterstützen wir sehr gerne, auch die Nachhaltigkeit dieses Betriebes ist unterstützenswert.
Der Sitzbereich im Freien vor dem Haus hat uns auch sehr gefallen.
La propreté est juste exceptionnelle, je redoutais la salle de bain commune mais au final c’était très bien.
Le petit déjeuner aussi était parfait et le fait d’avoir un parking à disposition pour un tarif correct est parfait.
Petit plus en tant qu’hôtel pension une cuisine équipée est la disposition des clients avec frigo et congélateur pour y entreposer nos produits.
Le seul point négatif est que l’hôtel n’est pas doté de la climatisation et avec la canicule actuelle cela aurait été appréciable. Mais nous avons tout de même beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.
Bien situé. Calme. Petit déjeuner complet.
