Good for a short stay, nice people.
Pros:

The vibe is hippie, which I imagined to be cool, chill....the staff was extremely friendly, the room was fine, the bed was good, but the presence of a large company of Asian tourists kinda detracted from the relaxed vibe.

Cons:

The beach was really disappointing....you have to cross a busy road, and it´s not clean. I found this to be true in many spots on Cat Ba. I hope they find a way to clean up all the garbage, it´s especially annoying in the water.

Great value and relaxing vibe
Pros:

We were happy to stay at Woodstock because the large double family room was a great size for our family of 5. The girl that manages the property was really helpful in organizing a car to pick us up at the port and she was quick to communicate with us. When our plans changed during our stay, she was also really accommodating and helpful. Our kids loved the pool!

Cons:

I wish the nearby beach were clean enough to swim in, but we still enjoyed some walks and finding shells there. We also went into Cat Ba town to use the new beach one day and found that it was a great place to swim that has rental chairs and umbrellas, etc. We could take the local bus directly there at the stop right outside the property, but the town is not particularly close.

, la ubicación si muy buena con playa privada prácticamente pero no hay quien la

La playa es un basurero
La piscina tiene moho muy sucia verde
El restaurante solo funciona al desayuno y en la tarde no lo abren hay que comer en el hotel del lado

Pros:

Nice quiet and relaxing vibe. But the staff was absolutely amazing. Tom and Hanh were really kind, friendly, funny and helpful. I felt like being at home.

Cons:

My first in the dormitory wasn't good. All the walls were wet, and smelt really strong. I think there are some leaks in the roof.
