Pros:

Location was excellent, a little loud with traffic, but the location made up for that easily. The staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant food was really good.

Cons:

I was surprised that my nightly rate changed each night, I was expecting $1200 for 3 nights but it was way more expensive at nearly $1500- that was not a great surprise and honestly way too much for a hotel room. The pool is really small as well. shouldn't really be considered a pool.

Flat iron fun in the heart of Wicker Park
Pros:

Loved the design everywhere - the hotel is wonderfully put together and a pleasure to look at. The staff were great, serious and committed to our enjoyment of the stay. The rooftop pool at Solana was lovely to have hotel-exclusive access in the morning.

Cons:

We skipped the valet and looked for cheaper parking; ended up on the street at the meters. Nothing much you can do to avoid that. No issues and found spots within 5 minute walk.

Fun and different hotel. Pricey for one night but great location.
Pros:

The view from the room is nice. The roof is covered in greenary and was better than just a roof with vents. Also able to see train from room, but did not hear it at all.

Cons:

The app for hotel made it seem you could add on additional items pretty easily. I tried to opt in for early check in, and beverages, but neither of those we were able to do. We were able to drop our bags, but I would not have come straight to the hotel if we knew we could not check in.
