A comfortable stay after a busy day at the Historic Dockyards. Staff were lovely.
Pros:

Location was convenient. Staff very friendly. Reasonable prices at the restaurant.

Decor a bit tired.

Great value and has vegan options
Pros:

I have stayed before so this was a return visit. I chose this place because of its location, cleanliness and it has have plenty of vegan options on the evening and breakfast menu.

Cons:

Even though there is vegan options at breakfast they removed a non-vegan item and didn't offer a replacement e.g. traditional vegetarian breakfast less the egg but nothing in replace of it or the crosaint with yogurt they removed the yogurt. Really need to offer something in its place like an additional hash brown and get some non-vegan milk and yogurt.

The staff were so friendly, helpful and the food was delicious
Pros:

The staff were so friendly and the breakfast was fabulous.

Cons:

We stayed in one of the hottest nights during the heatwave and although there was a fan, aircon would have been very welcome.

Nice hotel, great staff and good value for money!
Pros:

The staff is amazing and very helpful. The room was nice and had everything we needed. The bunk-bed was great for the kids. We went during a heat wave and they provided a fan. The bed and pillows were comfortable.
The hot breakfast menu is very good and I had the best eggs on our trip, fried to order.

Cons:

Unfortunately, no air conditioning and due to the heatwave the room was very hot (it was on the top floor). The beds had duvets instead of sheets, we just slept on top of the duvet. Air conditioning and a mini fridge would have been very welcome as even the cold bottles of water we purchased at the reception vending machine were lukewarm after an hour in the bedroom. The breakfast buffet could use with more variety in terms of fruit, yogurts, bread and pastry.

Pros:

Stayed for a couple nights and staff and service were both good. Receiving a bill of £340 for parking nearly two years later, kinda feels like an attempted extortion

Loved the succulent plants on arrival,friendly staff,very good night sleep,good atmosphere.
Pros:

Our evening meal was taken in the bar area because we had our dog with us . Very nice meal.
The bed was extremely comfortable,the best nights sleep i have had in a long time.I took note of the pillow make.
Clean room with all needed.
Breakfast was good with excellent service.
I will be booking to stay at The King Charles again.Its history is most interesting.

Cons:

For the price we paid ,there really are no complaints.
