Royal Mail Hotel

Everything. It was closed, no-one around. Then found a sign saying Hotel closed but accommodation ring number. We did and someone came in about 5mins. She showed us our room and there was nobody else there. We asked could we use microwave and yes was reply. We used it for frozen meal and said we'd have toast in morning. I looked at toaster, it was covered in thick dust, dirt and who knows what else. I put rubbish in bin in bathroom as there was no other bin in kitchen area, But the bin was half full. In our room I went to add more to a bin and it was full of coke cans. We don't drink coke! It had not been cleaned out. My husband then turned down the bed and it was USED and sheets were crumpled. We both got shivers of disgust and feeling totally unclean!!! It had not even been made properly. If sheets were that bad there was No Way I was laying in that bed with who knows whose germs and stains on sheets and the pillows were also the same. The spare pillows on spare bed were covered in dust.
We instantly rang another motel and in less than 10mins were given permission to inspect their room before checking in. We moved to the new motel which was very clean and comfortable.
We took key back this morning and when my husband was asked did he have a good sleep he just answered yes. (because it wasn't at the filthy Royal Mail Hotel.) We had no desire to list everything that was bad.
We have stayed at a Royal Mail Hotel in another state and it was wonderful. We thought we would have the same experience. NO WAY!!
We lost our money on this place and paid for a new motel but we were clean and healthy.
DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT STAYING HERE.

The place was closed, had to ring to get someone to let us in. The place smelt damp. The bed sheets were not fresh someone had previously slept in it as there was dirt in the bed. The hot water was only warm once you get it. It took nearly 2-3 minutes for the water temp to change. The shower head had the flexi tube coming away. The place appeared clean but toilet walls had marks. Oh we were told the door to the property should not be locked as there was only 1 key. Did we feel safe NO

Upon arrival, I found the place closed. I had to ring a mobile to get into my room. The hotel is not operating.

Nothing

Shared kitchen had no sink. Dishes didn't look clean. No glasses.

All the beds were horrible, floors were dirty, bathrooms and toilet were dirty. There wasn't even a mirror in the room.
When we arrived the place was closed and I had to call several numbers and then wait for someone to arrive. I'd booked two rooms as booking.com didn't show a family room available and then the lady tried to give me 1 room instead of the two I'd paid for.

The property was very unhygienic, was not cleaned and even bedsheets were not changed, the food crumbs were still in bed . I confirmed with the lady about accommodation before booking and she assured me that it is good for family and we will make arrangements accordingly, but there was a shared bathroom for 6 rooms, that was not enough for the people staying there.

It took the hot water a long time to come through in the shower.

Very noisy traffic still heard when the back room had a side window.
