Pros:

Staff..cleanness of the rooms. Great location. Giant pool. Free parking... staff came right to the room when we could not figure out how to use the remote. Block off the ocean.

Cons:

The was no iron or blow dryer. I needed to use the pool out bed. It was the most uncomfortable thing ever. I ended up sleeping directly on the undersized couch. The TV is quite small. Parking spaces are narrow.

We had an excellent stay at the Shalimar.
Pros:

Great location. Very near beach. Big heated pool. Free small mini golf course was perfect for the kids. Very friendly staff. We will go back.

Cons:

I didn't love the bath towels. I will bring my own next time.

Pros:

I have stayed here several times for many reasons. The minute you arrive and deal with the staff at the front desk they are very nice. Then you go to your room, always very neat and clean. The housekeeping staff is very nice. Then you go down to the pool and grilling area. Always very clean also. I have nothing negative at all to say. I will be back next year.

Nice stay, very clean, staff was great… room needs some updating… no lights by bath/shower, blinds were missing sect

Nice Minimal stay.
Pros:

The location is excellent, one block away from the beach. The staff were also very friendly.

Cons:

The room is very small, smaller than even some European hotels I've stayed in. While the bed was comfortable, the linens were quite rough. We were provided a lot of bath towels, but strangely, no hand towels. No blackout curtains means waking up with sun...

Wow-limar resort
Pros:

The hotel pool is heated and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The place was mostly clean. There is laundry and a fitness center. And most of all the amazing price. Every other hotel, the one across the street, the one down the block, everywhere, was double the price. I booked two months in advance, and my sister who was staying with us decided to get her own room and she got the same rate for a last minute booking that day.

Cons:

I stayed the first week of September before Labor Day. The grill area was not well maintained, though they did try to clean the grills while we were there they left a grease soaked (literally all grease filling the tines) grill brush for us to clean it with, which just made it worse. Other than this minor thing that made my food taste off (I was the only one who could taste it but I think it's because I cooked it and saw how dirty the grill grates were), great.

Pros:

So close to the beach and an elevator and luggage carts. They turn over the rooms and empty the trash every day.

Cons:

The door was a little hard to close we really had to slam it felt bad for our neighbors.

Shalimar is a hidden gem.
Pros:

I wanted to reach out and share some feedback regarding our recent stay. Upon arriving at the property, it was immediately noticeable how well-maintained and taken care of it is.

The pool was incredibly inviting, and the mini-golf was a huge hit with the kids. Having the bellhop cart and elevator available was a major plus for us; since we had a lot of baggage and my elderly parents were traveling with us, it made it very easy for them to get up and about.

The rooms were exceptional, especially the bunk beds, and the views from both balconies were absolutely wonderful. The location was also great. We first discovered the Crest last year and fell in love with the spaciousness of the area, while still being close to the boardwalk and within walking distance to the beach.

Thank you for a great stay it'll have a special place in my heart.

Cons:

We had to check out....We don't have any complaints about this property! Everyone was very nice and pleasant.

Excellent place to stay
Pros:

Our 2nd time staying here this season. Was a excellent stay. Pool was heated and very warm. Staff was very freindly. Top rated hotel in the crest and enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

It is end of season. Felt like it could use a deep cleaning compared too the last stay. Walls were dirty and scuffed up. I wiped some down and did a little cleaning. Not a big deal.
