Noisy night
Pros:

It’s very central in Hanoi

Cons:

We didn’t sleep well there was a lot of noise from passing traffic and also from shouting in the street - the hotel could have moved us to one of the other rooms as they would have known this. Also I had a lot of communication saying our payment could not be processed when they had exactly the same details as all the other places we stayed at . There is also quite an odd odour throughout the hotel

Exceptional hospitality, a perfect location, and outstanding value in the heart of Hanoi.
Pros:

Perfectly located and exceptionally welcoming, Chi Boutique Hotel is an excellent choice for a stay in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. The staff were outstanding, and Lily in particular went above and beyond. She helped arrange my transportation to Ha Long Bay and even followed up several days later to ensure I had successfully connected with my return driver—despite the fact that I wasn’t returning to the hotel. That level of care and attention truly stood out.

The room was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, and sunset cocktails on the rooftop offered beautiful views of St. Joseph’s Cathedral. The breakfast spread was impressive and provided the perfect start to each day of exploring. Overall, I found the hotel to be an incredible value and would happily stay here again on a future visit to Hanoi. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cons:

They are in the midst of some renovations but it didn’t affect my stay.
