Not what we hoped for
Cons:

We were promised the room with the balcony and didn't recive it.
The bed was uncomfortable and small.
The tv didn't work.
The bathroom was need a makeover or an uplift

Hotel stay for Longleat Park visit
Pros:

The old part, the wood panelling, tiled floors and the fireplaces.

Cons:

It was dusty. Disappointed there was no full English breakfast but there was still enough variety.
Also disappointed the swimming pool was not in use.

Friendly staff, clean room obviously recently decorated with en-suite to finnishbut the building has a lot of caricature

The tv picture on all channels was poor , the kettle lead was too short to reach the socket from the table.More signage in the corridors to direct you around .

Nice building in need of some serious investment

Beautiful properly with lots of potential

Cons:

Smelt damp …some of the ceiling had come down in the hallway due to leak . No pool available that was advertised been closed for some time by the looks of it in need of some serious investment …needed night vision goggles to use the bathroom at night picture added ..breakfast was terrible the bread was still frozen never come across that in a hotel before

Disappointed
Pros:

The property is lovely, secure motorcycle parking (out of sight from the road)

Cons:

The room was too hot, no air movement, shower was sub standard and cold, no bar, limited breakfast. Would not stay again

Cons:

Unfortunately this beautiful building has gone past a suitable standard to be rented out. It's very dated and in a state of disrepair. Part of our bedroom ceiling had fallen down. We had quite a few moths flying around our room which makes you wonder what else is living in the carpet. The pool facilities should be removed from their advertising as it has clearly not been usable for many years. Breakfast was toast and cereal which you are welcome to help yourself to as no staff were there to assist. There were actually no visible staff anywhere when we checked out.

The shower pressure was nice and the beginning was clean

Cons:

I did not like the mould starting to form in the bathroom by the shower did not like the fact that there was a part of the ceiling was exposed and cracking looks like the ceiling needed work to fix it the wall paper was falling off of the wall due to moisture in the wall as the dark water spots were visible
