The central location was great. The bed was comfortable.
No cleaning was provided unless you paid and I would expect for a 5 night stay a cleaner would come to sweep & remove rubbish. The dishwasher did not work & was dirty. The shower/jacuzzi was style over substance. The property is looking tired it could do with a refresh. Oh 2 toilet rolls for 5 nights is mean. The reception has nothing to do with the property.
Location and views from the terrace were great! The bed was very comfortable (I’m very fussy with mattresses) and overall we loved the stay
There was no cutlery in the kitchenette although we weren’t planning on cooking while we stayed so it wasn’t a major issue. Also the cathedral bells start tolling at 6am and go off every 15mins thereafter so not great for sleeping in but if you want a repeating alarm without a snooze button this is great! In all seriousness it didn’t bother me too much but my husband was a little annoyed he wasn’t able to sleep in. I think a warning on the listing to being ear plugs or something to block out the sound if you don’t want to be woken by church bells at 6am would be good.
Fantastic location and unbeatable view.
Some fixtures and appliance need minor repairs but it didn’t really impact our stay.
The location
There was a red spiders everywhere.. literally everywhere our clothes and bed and everything we had had spiders all over it .. it lacked black out curtains so if you can’t sleep in light it’s not for you.. the balcony was useless due to the spiders

Das Apartment ist sehr zentral gelegen und mit allem ausgestattet, was man in den Ferien benötigt, zB auch in der Küche. Die Betten sind bequem. Es ist sehr ruhig, kein Straßenlärm.
Es gibt eine schöne Terrasse mit einem herrlichen Ausblick auf den Dom. Das Apartment ist sehr sauber und top gepflegt.

The view of the Il Duomo Santa Maria Del Fiore is the reason we picked this apartment to rent in Florence. It was our honeymoon and the level of decadence in this apartment is extraordinary. Amenities are good with an amazing shower, separate toilet, free coffee and tea (and coffee machine), towels etc. The view is absolutely stunning and exactly what we wanted.
It is a perfect location, right next to Il Duomo, but also near other sites and sights. It is only a fifteen minute walk from the main train station.
I would say for the price paid (almost £1000) that cleaning should be included. I understand it is a premium location, but for that price the room should be cleaned daily like any other hotel. The advert is a little misleading in that it says there is daily housekeeping when booking...but when I queried this after the second night I was directed to the small print stating this is on request only and incurs an additional charge.

Lage ist perfekt wenn man mitten drinnen (inkl. Trubel) will. Zimmer Größe ist perfekt. Balkon ist sehr gemütlich. Matratzen sind gut.
Ausreichend Gläser, Teller, …. Vorhanden
Badewanne: bräuchte eine ordentliche Grundreinigung, läuft nicht ab und ist gefährlich. Einstieg zu hoch. Jemand unter 190cm hat Probleme mit nassen Füßen nicht auszurutschen. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit sich festzuhalten. Der Vorhang/ Sichtschutz zwischen Dusche und Bett fehlt.
Für 3 Nächte nur 1 Handtuch, 1 Duschtuch, 1 Tuch für Bidet pro Person. Nur 1 Badevorleger, obwohl man 3 brauchen könnte (Waschbecken, WC und Dusche). Keine Gesichts Handtücher
Möbel sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und einige Instandhaltungen würden ebenfalls die Unterkunft aufwerten.
Aufzug geht nur bis in den vorletzten Stock
Lärm kann ich auch bestätigen. Solange Fenster geschlossen sind ist es aber ok.
