Catalina Comfort
Pros:

MERMAID ROOM #4
The staff was very friendly & professional. Upon arrival Amber was very nice. Allowed us to leave our luggage at the property until our room was available at which time we received a call which was very nice. The location was great, everything was close and within walking distance. The room was very clean & comfortable. Had a small table outside our unit which was nice to enjoy breakfast in the morning. This room.was downstairs off the walkway, very convenient and easily accessible which was great because I am disabled and climbing stairs would have been very hard on me. AC was wonderful and the control made items to adjust as needed. Bed was firm and comfortable, plenty of blankets and pillows. Michael was very accommodating the morning we were due to checkout. I was ill during the night & my back had went out, he allowed us a bit of a late checkout which helped immensely. I highly recommend this hotel

Cons:

The toilet pressure was a bit on the weak side but worked. The ice was located up the stairs which I was unable to access do to my disability, wish they had ice available on the lower level as well. I wish id known they allowed service dogs before arriving (I should have called that was my fault). I never travel without him, this was a first and was hard to do. Those are literally our only complaints. The pros out weighs the cons by 90%

Pros:

Walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants and cruise dock

Cons:

Toilet very low, bathroom very small. Hard to lock the entrance door. Had to slam in order to lock it.

Perfect and Quaint
Pros:

Quaint and convenient to the waterfront, restaurants and shops.
The room was very clean and comfortable, and everything you need, coffee maker, fridge, etc.
They have an awesome rooftop lounge area with view of ocean and harbor.
Amber was a perfect Innkeeper who definitely went over and beyond to make our little vacation special on Catalina Island. She not only upgraded our room, but gave us recommendations on where to go, and what to do. Because of her, we would definitely stay again!

Pros:

Pretty good space! Very close to everything on the island and it’s a nice place to stay at for a night.

Cons:

There are lots of stairs and there’s some lights on the roof but they don’t work, or weren’t working during our stay. It wasn’t a major deal to us, they have lots of other things to offer to make up for it!

One memorable night in Avalon
Pros:

Luce accommodations in "The Loft". I was only there for one night, but could easily have done three -there was a complete kitchenette. They even provide a beach towel!

Staff remarkable and accommodating. Very quaint and cute. Overall, very nice.
Pros:

Great check in experience with staff, nice to have a mini fridge and microwave.

Cons:

Small rooftop fridge by grills not operating but full fridge below. Grills and griddle nice feature although did not use. Rooftop lighting not operating. Missing floor tiles in bathroom, body lotion watery. Just observations, not criticism.
