Hotel Savoy

Hotel muito bem localizado, a menos de 100 metros da estação de trem, o que facilita bastante a locomoção. Há também supermercado e diversos restaurantes nas proximidades.

Embora esteja instalado em um prédio antigo, o hotel transmite a impressão de ter passado por um excelente retrofit. As áreas internas são modernas. O quarto é amplo, arejado e muito confortável, com roupas de cama e banho impecavelmente limpas. O banheiro é moderno, com louças, metais e chuveiro novos, além de excelente pressão e água sempre bem aquecida.

O café da manhã é excelente, com variedade de sucos, frutas, pães e frios, tudo muito fresco e saboroso.

Além da excelente localização, o hotel fica próximo aos principais pontos turísticos de Berna, permitindo fazer muitos passeios a pé. Recomendo a hospedagem pela qualidade das instalações, pelo conforto e pela praticidade.

All items that you would need at a stay are supplied including eye pads, shampoo, shower cap etc. Any services required can be provided and breakfast was fine - just missed bacon. Everything else high standard

The hotel is very located and is within walking distance to many of the major sites, as well as the train station. Although it is in the heart of the city, the room was very quiet.

The room was spacious and very clean. We appreciated that it was very dog friendly and the bed was very comfortable. Great shower and air conditioning! We also enjoyed the breakfast options.

The front desk staff was wonderful and helpful both during check-in and check out. In addition, they answered many of the questions I had both prior to making a reservation as well as addressing parking concerns due to the street festival.

Their web site shows realistic views of the rooms which are functional, clean, modern and comfortable. Location is great for the train station and the old town and yet we had little noise. The air conditioning was very welcome, the team friendly and professional. The breakfasts were a highlight. We loved Bern and we are very glad we chose this hotel.

We stayed one night. The room & bedding are comfortable, and the AC worked well. Our room overlooked the courtyard. The window has a motorized blackout screen. It was the quietest night I spent on our entire vacation. The location in old town Bern is fantastic. We didn't opt for the breakfast. The staff was helpful with restaurant recommendations.

Well located and clean hotel located in the heart of old Bern, very close to the train station.

Having stayed in this hotel several times for business, the chance to stay as a 'guest' was an extra joy. While my husband and I were in Bern for a sad occasion, our restful time at the Savoy was an oasis.

Charles, Sabrina, and Katrin are always equal parts professional and kind. The breakfast is a taste delight of local and international treats, and the location is ideal. Near the train station for easy transport, steps from the capitol with its amazing views over the aare and another few steps to the heart of the old city. All the while, offering a quiet night sleep.

In every context I have had the opportunity to call the Savoy home, I am satisfied and grateful.

Great location

I chose this hotel because its near the train station and in the historic district and honestly, that's about all it has going for it. I've seen hospital rooms that exude more charm than there guest rooms. It you like a room with a very close-up view of a large pipe than here's your place. The staff gives you a key and you figure out where your room is and how everything works. Oh and at Check-out, they vcome up with extra charges that we fought and got them to back down on.
