The room itself was comfortable and the location was convenient for our needs in Charlottesville.
My original Booking.com reservation was for 4 nights, from 17 to 21 August 2026. At check-in there was a temporary payment issue, and part of the amount was successfully paid.
I was never clearly informed that my confirmed 4-night reservation was being reduced to 2 nights, and I did not knowingly request or agree to such a change.
On 19 August, when I went to the front desk to complete the remaining payment, I was informed that my stay had been reduced and that my original room type was no longer available for the remaining nights. I was then offered accommodation at a much higher rate, which led us to leave and book another hotel.
As a result, my family and I had to pack, move and unpack our belongings repeatedly, arrange alternative accommodation at short notice and incur additional expenses.
The hotel management later confirmed in writing that the property itself had changed the reservation from 4 nights to 2 nights. We strongly disagree about whether I was properly informed or consented to that change.
This experience caused major inconvenience and disruption during an important family trip.
I love Country Inn and Suites Charlottesville. It's local to me, I go stay when I need a mental reset and time to myself and I'm always treated like family by everyone there. I won't go to any other place to stay.
There is NOTHING I do not like about Country Inn and Suites Charlottesville or the STAFF. Both are AMAZING.
Overall liked the facilities.
I don't like the parking lot, too tight and people were hanging out in it when I got there.
Neat and clean, friendly staff, good breakfast.
Tv should be upgraded to smart tv for the guest to be able to enjoy Netflix, Prime or at-least cast.
