Because of hot weather it wasn’t a good idea to choose this property! As there is no air conditioner. Other than that I like it.
Staff help full
No pressure for bath shower
Nothing. If I could give this place a minus rating I would.
Writing this is Lorraine, Marks wife. Blood stains on the pillow, bedding and walls, dirty room. Drunken or drugged men approaching a single woman (myself) which was frightening. The receptionist who could or would not help me. I left the property almost immediately.
The convenient location. The small Coop supermarket close by.
The room itself was underprepared for someone to stay. Only one dirty mug in the room. Had to ask for towels and toilet paper. The soap dispenser was empty.
The toilet seat didn't fit the toilet.
The room was grubby.

Very smelly
Friendly receptionist, our room was kindly upgraded on our arrival, to our surprise :) Beautiful balcony.
The staff was nice
Everything, the property seemed very outdated, unclen, makeup on the pillow and hair in the bed, it smelt of smoke and was being masked by plug in's throughout the hotel, the ceiling had been leaking - which was evident by the staining.
Neglected building, needs urgent upgrade. I checked out early & did not stay.
There was hot water from the shower. There was a TV. there was a window I could open for fresh air. There was a kettle. There was sufficient lighting and a sofa. They replace my heater when the one in the room didn't work.
There was a valance that didn't quite cover the worn out and torn bed base, this was visible and looked awful. I could not communicate my needs via the ring bell intercom nor by telephone because staff was not available. I had to use the fire exit for exit and entry to my room for two of the four days that I was there. It was not acceptable for me because of the stairs. They had parties in the front receptions rooms over the two days. No one was allowed access through the front of the hotel. The restaurant next door did not provide breakfast and was not open for most of the time. There were noises outside my door during the night which made me afraid for my safety. If I had had an emergency, I would have had to call 999 and not the hotel.
