Ein schönes Hotel, das Frühstücksbuffet ist aber ausbaufähig.
Pros:

Die Lage war sehr ruhig und auf einem Hügel. Die Landschaft ist sehr schön und das Schloss ist in einem sehr guten Zustand. Das Zimmer war groß und sehr sauber, ebenso das Bad. Der Zimmerservice war sehr gut.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war eher durchschnittlich und im Einzelnen nicht sehr reichhaltig bestückt. Das Omelett war sehr gut, das Personal war sehr freundlich, aber das Buffet war doch etwas begrenzt. So gab es am Sonntag nur eine Sorte Brötchen und nur zwei Sorten Marmelade. Wenn etwas aufgegessen oder ausgetrunken war, und das kam öfters vor, da immer nur kleine Mengen auf dem Buffet vorhanden waren, dauerte es sehr lange bis nachgelegt wurde. Leider gab es auch keinen Kaffeeautomaten am Frühstücksbüffet. Es gab auch keine Waffeln und keine Pancakes. Der Preis für das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber bei einem 5 Sterne Hotel hätte ich mehr erwartet. Das Schwimmbecken ist übrigens sehr klein. Es passen eigentlich nur 2 Personen hinein.

Herrenhäuser in Einsamkeit muss man mögen.
Pros:

Der persönliche Empfang war angenehm und entspannt, die Suite sehr schön.
Frühstück war nicht außergewöhnlich aber gut.
Wer den Flair eines Herrenhauses und die Einsamkeit liebt, ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Cons:

Der Ablauf beim Frühstück war ineffektiv, trotz Buffett musste man auf vieles warten.
Dinner Qualität und Quantität passt nicht mehr zum Preis.
Longe etc vorhanden aber leider nicht offen.
Wellness kaum zugänglich.
Die tolle Weite und Fernsicht der oberen Etagen wird leider nicht genutzt.

Pros:

Sehr gutes Frühstück & nettes Personal. Einziger (wirklich nur) kleiner Kritikpunkt: für Frühaufsteher ist der Frühstücksbegin um 8.15h etwas spät.

Das Hotel ist unglaublich schön, perfekt gepflegt mit aussergewöhnlichen Zimmern und dem Blick fürs Detail.

Cons:

Die gastronmische Versorgung ist angesichts bestehendem Personalmangels leider nicht sehr gut. Die hauseigne Bar hatte nicht geöffnet, das Essen im Restaurant war unterdurchschnittlich und der Frühstücksservice zäh.
