Important information:

When booking more than 5 rooms, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit requested is 50% of the total stay, the balance payment is required 28 days prior to arrival.

Pros:

Location can’t be any better and it was good sound isolation being in a be town centre.
The personnel was lovely and nothing was a problem.

Cons:

The spa area is unique as it was a bank building in the past. I felt like I am on a set of a movie about bank robbery as we still could see original doors. However someone with walking problems might find steps and small areas challenging. But we loved it! Beautiful place to be!

Lovely hotel in a wonderful location
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, very clean and comfortable room with everything we needed for our stay. The location is perfect for exploring the city centre

Cons:

The air conditioning system in room 354 was quite noisy like something was catching on the fan, and there’s possibly a boiler system or some system above or next to the room that’s also quite noisy which at times wake us up in the night, so this may need to be looked at

Beautiful hotel with lovely features.
Pros:

Beautiful hotel and spotless room. Mojito on arrival was a lovely touch as was the complimentary gin in the room. Would definitly stay again. They even posted my makeup bag when I left it there by accident! To top it off the bed was the comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever used.

Cons:

Nothing. Will be back!

Bequemes Bett und angenehme Dusche. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Erst nach der Buchung wird man informiert, dass man für das Spa extra bezahlen und einstündige Slots buchen muss, es schliesst früh. Der Zugang zum Lift ist beschwerlich.

Ich empfinde den Preis als deutlich zu hoch.

My mum and i visited this hotel and spa for my mums birthday. Our room got upgraded as we came to check-in to what i believe was a suite. It was absolutely stunning! The staff had set up our room with the balloons that i requested a a box of chocolates. The spa was as amazing as i remember. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times before and it never fails to disappoint!

Cons:

We weren't bothered at all but the only thing is that we were missing 1 pair of slippers, very very minor.

Cons:

It’s a very expensive hotel to stay at but it doesn’t feel quite as special as it should. The hotel is beginning to feel a little tired. We stayed here 8 years ago and it was all lovely. Now the air con doesn’t work effectively and the decor in spa is not looking its best. We paid for breakfast included however the hotel said this was just continental and we would have to pay extra to have the full breakfast. Having stayed here and at the sister hotels this one feels neglected.

Well positioned hotel
Pros:

Staff friendly and very helpful . Breakfast was amazing .Enjoyed the cocktail on Sunday . Room spacious.

Cons:

The spa was poor , dimly lit and felt dingy . Would have been better to be free, for clients. The coat hangers were incredibly high , we couldn’t get them on and off the rail easily .
