Location excellent

Breakfast excellent

Room - cute but ceiling was a bit lower than I imagined, but we coped. Fridge wasn’t cold enough & electric
jug cord didn’t reach the dresser top so had to use it on the floor! Also was very difficult to access
suitcase on floor under ceiling but would improve if it could be stored on a base with wheels so it
can roll out for easier access

Staircase - we had no idea that there was no lift & therefore we’d need to climb 4 levels of a building with
such a high stud (our stud height on average is 14 steps - yours 24 !) However I accept that is
a feature of old historic buildings that gives them character!

Hotel access - our arrival was very difficult because we couldn’t contact anyone to let us in. Our phones ran
out of data & then battery power so we were stuck. We had to ask for help in a local retailer
to allow us to recharge our phones & they went out of their way to help us. I accept that this
situation probably arose because I failed to reply to an email from the hotel in time, regarding
our arrival, which was just after closing. However, as a guest from the other side of the world
It would have been comforting to know there was another option for entering. We could still
have been standing there waiting for hours had those kind people not helped us.

All in all, it was a pleasant stay with a beautiful room & view & pleasant staff & we have no regrets.

Fantastic location ! Clean and friendly people

Although our room did not have AC we had three windows that provided a beautiful breeze off the river. We were very comfortable in weather with 80 F highs and 60 F lows

Dobrá lokalita v centru města, nedaleké historického mostu, ideální pro turisty, kteří mají zájem o místní památky. Bohatá snídaně, velmi příjemný personál. Náš pozdnější příjezd (mimo otevírací dobu recepce) se snadno vyřešil díky zaslání přístupových kódů.

4th floor and ac not sufficient. Room was 88. Intolerable.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Ein wunderschönes kleines Hotel direkt am Fluss und in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Innenstadt und den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ein sehr gutes Frühstück in ganz besonderen Räumlichkeiten; sowohl die Einrichtung als auch das Frühstück selbst zeugen von viel Liebe zum Detail. Das Frühstück ist gut und reichhaltig. Das Zimmer war groß, sauber und komfortabel – ausgestattet mit einem Himmelbett, gutem Fernseher, Kühlschrank sowie einer hervorragenden Dusche in einem schönen, sauberen Badezimmer. Wer Heidelberg besucht, dem kann ich dieses Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen.

I received a warm welcome at Hotel Villa Marstall. As I was arriving a little later than expected, the receptionist kindly stayed beyond her usual hours so that I could check in personally rather than having to use the entry code. This thoughtful gesture immediately made me feel welcome. I stayed in a beautiful junior suite under the roof, which was full of character and charm. The suite was comfortable, quiet, and a lovely place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The location is excellent. The hotel sits directly on the banks of the Neckar River and is only a short walk from Heidelberg’s historic Old Town, the famous Old Bridge, restaurants, cafés, and many of the city’s main attractions. It is an ideal base for exploring Heidelberg on foot.

Tous la propreté l’aimabilité , situation géographique !! J’ai eu just un petit stress lors de paiment que j’ai appelé a plusieurs reprise mais je tombais sur le repondeur !! Heureusement le patron m’a appele car je lui ai laisse un mail donc petit stress résolut..une petite bouteille d’eau pour les arriver il faisait chaud

Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt mit einer sehr positiven Atmosphäre! Die Lage ist hervorragend und bietet eine tolle Aussicht. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das sehr nette, aufmerksame und freundliche Personal – man merkt, dass es sich um einen liebevoll geführten Familienbetrieb handelt.

Die historische Altbau-Atmosphäre und die geschmackvolle Gestaltung verleihen der Unterkunft einen ganz besonderen Charme. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und wohl.
