The location is in walking distance to the pier, beach, restaurants and shops

The staff were friendly and helpful. I don’t remember the front desk lady’s name but she was so friendly and helpful. We checked in Sunday afternoon and check in was super quick and easy. The hotel is located 10 mins walk from the pier and maybe around 15-20 mins walk to good restaurants, they also have target and Trader Joe’s within 5 mins of walk from the hotel.

The location of this courtyard is amazing. You have access the Santa Monica Pier and so many shops and restaurants. Great family hotel. Staff is so nice and so accommodating. Highly recommend. The kids had a blast being there during the FIFA World Cup 2026 . #fifa2026

FIFA2026 - I can’t say enough good things about this Courtyard. The staff is fantastic (especially Rosa in the cafe!), rooms are cleans, amazing location, and more. My wife and I had a great stay and will definitely be coming back!

The staff are consistently professional, friendly, and attentive, providing excellent customer service. The property is well maintained, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to navigate. Overall, it is an excellent choice for anyone looking to experience all that Santa Monica has to offer.

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and we were given a complimentary upgrade to our room - the staff has been incredibly nice!

Stayed two nights for work and had the best stay!! Great location, spacious clean rooms, and friendly staff. Aaron at the front desk was so warm and friendly and went above and beyond to get me the best room. (And he also has the best name). America at valet was also incredibly helpful and so sweet!! Hope to be back soon!

This hotel is strategically located in Santa Monica near the ocean, shopping, restaurants and the Metro Train. The staff are extremely helpful and professional. The facility is well maintained and easy to navigate.

We are seasoned, discerning travelers who found the negative reviews unfounded. Yes, parking is expensive - as is all the parking in LA and the surrounding areas. And no, there is not an on-site restaurant other than the Starbucks bistro - which is more than enough for our wake up coffee and quick snack. There is an abundance of restaurants within short walking distance.

What a wonderful stay! We certainly would stay here again when in the area.

This hotel is in downtown Santa Monica and right next to the metro rail as well as several shops and restaurants. The lobby and guest lounge looks immaculate and features a restaurant, snack pantry, business center, guest lounge with flat screen TVs, wooden shelf with decorative sculptures, artwork and books. Amenities at this hotel include gym, swimming pool, hot tub/jacuzzi, guest laundry, meeting rooms and ice dispenser. In the rooms you get a flat screen smart TV to stream Netflix, work desk with office chair, telephone, refrigerator, coffee maker, lounge chair with tiny round table, coffee maker, refrigerator, safe deposit box, ironing amenities, clothing rack, full length camera and complimentary toiletries in the bathroom.
My only gripe with this place is that they don’t have microwaves in the room
