Pros:

Overall comfortable stay.

Cons:

Location - there was an attempted robbery and shooting on the pier on one of the evenings. Big unhoused population in the area; someone got into the lobby despite closed doors and was yelling obscenities.
Water pressure in shower and sink were very low.
Asked for a microwave when I booked more than a month in advance; never got one.

Gutes Hotel in super Lage.
Pros:

Die Lage ist sensationell, Einen Block herunterlaufen und man ist am Santa Monica Pier. Die Metrostation ist direkt vor der Tür. Geschäfte, Restaurants, Strand sind super zu Fuß erreichbar.
Zimmer und Bad waren groß und geräumig. Es gibt einen Starbucks im Hotel für ein kleines Frühstück, das ist sehr praktisch. Der Außenpool liegt im 2. Stock und ist sehr einladend.

Cons:

Leider konnte man die Fenster im Zimmer nicht öffnen.

Pros:

The location is excellent, very close to Santa Monica Pier. There’s also a small Target and Trader Joe’s right on the same street as the hotel, which is very convenient. Having a small Starbucks in the lobby is another nice touch.

Cons:

The valet service was quite slow, as there was only one person working, which resulted in long waiting times. Check-in at the front desk also took much longer than expected. There was no bell service, so we had to handle our own luggage and take it to and from the room ourselves.

Decent location and walking distance from the Santa Monica Pier
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful. I don’t remember the front desk lady’s name but she was so friendly and helpful. We checked in Sunday afternoon and check in was super quick and easy. The hotel is located 10 mins walk from the pier and maybe around 15-20 mins walk to good restaurants, they also have target and Trader Joe’s within 5 mins of walk from the hotel.

Cons:

The one thing that we didn’t like was the guests that were above us. I guess they had kids and the kids constantly were jumping and stomping the floor which we could hear as early as 7am and when we would come back from a long day of adventure we would hear that noise until 11pm. We didn’t complain about it to the front desk since we didn’t want to spoil anyone else’s vacation.

Sin solución ante una reserva confirmada
Cons:

Reservé este hotel por Booking con pago en el alojamiento y llegué con mi familia por la noche. A pesar de tener la confirmación de la reserva, nos informaron que el hotel estaba completo y que no tenían ninguna reserva a mi nombre.

El personal afirmó que el problema era de Booking. Me comuniqué con Booking, que intentó contactar al hotel sin obtener respuesta. Tras casi dos horas de espera, un cambio de turno en recepción y sin que nadie ofreciera una solución, tuve que buscar otro alojamiento por mi cuenta.

Una experiencia muy frustrante. Más allá del origen del problema, nadie se hizo cargo y nos dejaron sin hospedaje a altas horas de la noche.

The location of this courtyard is amazing. You have access the Santa Monica Pier and so many shops and restaurants. Great family hotel. Staff is so nice and so accommodating. Highly recommend. The kids had a blast being there during the FIFA World Cup 2026 . #fifa2026

Great Santa Monica Hotel!
Pros:

FIFA2026 - I can’t say enough good things about this Courtyard. The staff is fantastic (especially Rosa in the cafe!), rooms are cleans, amazing location, and more. My wife and I had a great stay and will definitely be coming back!

Would stay again but would request a new room if the water pressure was as bad as this room and get a room with two norm

The location from the beach and pier was great. Around plenty of restaurants.

Cons:

The pullout bed in the room was very uncomfortable. It sloped down so your lower body wasn’t at the same level with the rest of your body. The water pressure in the shower was horrible. The shower is so big and the pressure was so bad you freeze.
