Good value, great location. Could do with a fix up
Pros:

Lovely location. Great views and a few small restaurants/ a bar in the village. (Book up though !)

The hotel from the out side
Was grand.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Free Parking on site.

Cons:

The food wasn't the best .
And the room was at the rear with a window looking strait at the employees quarters and they could see in .

Fantastic lovely hotel
Pros:

The room was clean,lovely food ,really nice staff could not do enough for you ..even knocked on my door and asked if I needed any more coffee, tea and milk ...saw a few reviews when I booked saying it was not clean ..I'm a owner of a cleaning business so have high standards..it was very clean 👌 Dogs are very welcome

Great location & good value.
Pros:

My single room was newly refurbished & was clean with everything required for an overnight solo stay. The staff were very friendly & helpful.
The location was perfect for me

Cons:

The general feel in the communal areas & corridors were slightly worn.

Oldies on tour with there westie
Pros:

We have stayed many times in arrochar , being in the later years of our lives you can imagine we have traveled extensively in the uk, we were welcomed at the Loch Long Hotel from the minute we stepped into the building, we stayed in room 60 with out West highland terrier,, not the biggest room but lovely and clean , lovely view of the loch , the breakfast and evening meals were delicious, staff could not do enough for us , even going to the trouble off bringing Thistle his own sausage which he gladly whooffed down lol, I did read some off the reviews beforehand, and I really can say hand on heart this for us was a lovely week , I often wonder what people expect these days , we will definitely be back to this hotel in the future, a massive big thanks to all the staff for making our stay so nice 👍

Cons:

Can't think of anything to be honest, it was very busy while we were there , lots of walkers, coach trip staying, car park can be tight , but we all seemed to fit and could get out easily enough

Pros:

The location was perfect. Stunning views from the lounge bar. Great place for stop off on the way to West coast Highlands
Beds very comfy

Cons:

Down stairs rooms ok upstairs very tired. Cooked breakfast very poor. Continental.ok. it was as we expected and for the price it was reasonable.

Nos permitieron hacer el check in relativamente tarde. Cumple con las necesidades básicas y pudimos hacer uso del parking.

Cons:

Parecía más un hostal que un hotel, la habitación no estaba del todo limpia (por ejemplo las tazas estaban sin fregar), y las camas/almohadas podrían ser más cómodas.

Correct sans plus …
Pros:

L’emplacement en face du loch est très bien. Il y a que peu d’endroit où dîner heureusement que l’hôtel a un restaurant.

Cons:

Chambre correcte sans plus. La porte de la salle de bain cassée donc signalé à la réception mais pas de personnel pour réparer. Accès à certaines chambres peu pratique nous avons du descendre et monter les étages à pieds avec les valises.

Good location but disappointing hotel.
Pros:

The location and access to a bar and restaurant.

Cons:

The staff didn’t seem to want to be there and were too busy watching videos on their phone to greet us. The room had a dripping shower that was mouldy, there was black mould throughout the bathroom. Decor was dated with scratches all over the walls.

It was quiet

Cons:

The rooms are old and need updating. The towels and in need of fabric softener, the rooms needed maintenance, light fittings falling out, extraction fan falling out, mould in the fittings, cobwebs all over.
