Radisson Blu Resort Galle

Location was really good. Buffet was nice. Rooms are not bad.

Just loved this hotel! Every room has an ocean view, which makes the experience feel special from the moment you arrive. I also loved the open-air design of the hotel and its beautiful, airy lobbies.

The pool was fantastic, with plenty of lounge chairs and cabanas available, so it never felt crowded. The restaurants offered halal food, which was a huge plus, and the non-alcoholic mojitos were excellent.

Most importantly, the staff went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met, making our stay comfortable and memorable. I would happily stay here again.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The room itself was comfortable and generally well presented, and the food was a highlight. Breakfast and dinner had a good variety and quality, and I would recommend booking half board as I felt it offered good value. Service and hospitality were perfectly fine overall, and the stay was enjoyable.

Great location, but the overall experience was disappointing. For a five-star hotel, the service fell short of expectations, and the staff seemed inadequately trained. I would think twice before recommending it.

Our stay at Radisson Blu Resort, Galle was one of the highlights of our Sri Lanka vacation. From the moment we checked in, we felt relaxed and welcomed.

The sea view from our room on the 8th floor was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the endless blue ocean and watching the sunset from the balcony created memories that our family will cherish forever.

The resort's large, beautifully maintained swimming pool was perfect for both adults and kids. We spent hours enjoying the pool, and it added so much fun and relaxation to our holiday.

A special mention goes to YAZU Restaurant. The food was simply exceptional—every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and among the best we enjoyed during our trip. The dining experience was truly memorable.

What made this stay even more special was the peaceful atmosphere, warm hospitality, and attention to detail. It felt like a home away from home, making it difficult for us to leave.

Radisson Blu Resort Galle is a luxury beachfront resort, located approximately 5 kilometers away from Galle Railway Station that is convenient to come here by train from Colombo like we did.

Staycation started with warm welcoming at the lounge with young coconut and lighting the traditional oil lamp (a deeply rooted cultural & spiritual ritual to invite good fortune, peace & prosperity).

Hotel has 172 well-appointed rooms and suites with amazing jungle and ocean view from the private balcony. We stayed at beautiful and spacious 'Junior suite' with the biggest terrace I’ve ever seen at hotel! The view was just stunning, once we were lucky to see a rainbow.

Hotel has great beach and pool areas: take sunbathe, swim, play water games or chill at Bay Poolside Bar. Pool is pretty big to swim even if someone wants to play water games.

At ’Fusion’ restaurant we enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner with international and Asian cuisine. I tried here Wood Apple Juice for the first time and couldn’t miss traditional pancakes, hoppers, made of rice flour.

Stylish restaurant Yazu Galle is a great place for a dinner. Here you can find Japanese, Thai and Cantonese-inspired dishes with impressive presentation. Food was really amazing!

Gym with modern equipment will help you to get a perfect summer body. Ping pong lovers can show at hotel their skills too. If you don’t like gym, you can visit it to get still water :)

Kids club will help parents to relax while little guests make fun and play. SPA is the best place for it when children are busy. We liked it even without children :)

Bommu Rooftop Bar is the ideal place for a refreshing drink, delicious tapas dishes and to appreciate breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean at night. But we came there even to take pictures during the day.

Radisson Blu Resort Galle is a great place for holiday or even wedding (we were lucky to see one with traditional dance).

We had a memorable stay at Radisson Blu Galle in May 2026, made even more meaningful by the incredible support we received during an unexpected medical emergency. Being away from home in a different country, it was a stressful situation, but the team’s kindness and care truly stood out.
From helping us arrange transportation to thoughtfully extending our checkout and guiding us at every step, their support made a huge difference. What impressed us most was not just the efficiency, but the genuine concern and empathy shown by everyone.
A special mention to the Kalpa Restaurant team, Wasanti, Ashan, and the Front Office & Management teams for going above and beyond to help us through a difficult time.
We are truly grateful for the warmth and compassion—we will always remember this experience. Highly recommend for not just the stay, but the people who make it special.
