Relaxing stay
Pros:

We had the best experience at the hotel. It was our final stop before flying back home, and we were hoping for a relaxing stay—and the hotel’s beautiful amenities certainly delivered.

As it was our honeymoon, Adeesha went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. He even arranged a framed photo for us, which we are really looking forward to displaying at home. It was such a thoughtful gesture and something we will always cherish.

The food was amazing, and the pool and pool staff were fantastic. A special mention to Ajith, who was incredibly attentive and made our time by the pool even more enjoyable.

Overall, it was the perfect way to end our honeymoon, and we are so grateful to the entire team for making our stay so memorable.

Heel mooi en aangenaam hotel!
Pros:

Wat dit hotel voor mij echt bijzonder maakt, is het uitzonderlijk vriendelijke en respectvolle personeel. Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen, voelden we ons ontzettend welkom. Iedereen, zonder uitzondering – de medewerkers aan de receptie, het schoonmaakteam, het zwembadpersoneel, de medewerkers van de rooftopbar, de beveiliging, de koks, de obers en het onderhoudsteam – deed werkelijk alles om ons verblijf zo aangenaam en comfortabel mogelijk te maken.

We werden bijzonder hartelijk ontvangen door Senala en Ashan, die ons meteen een warm welkom gaven. Ook Malkhanti, die de heerlijke hoppers bereidt, verdient een speciale vermelding. Ze is een ontzettend warme en vriendelijke vrouw. Tijdens een wandeling zagen we haar toevallig voorbijrijden op haar brommer. Ze stopte speciaal om ons haar paraplu te geven, omdat we in de felle zon aan het wandelen waren. Dat soort oprechte vriendelijkheid vergeet je niet snel.

Ook Senulya, die 's avonds de heerlijke bibbikan-cakejes rondbrengt, was een absoluut lichtpunt. Ze is zo lief en vriendelijk. Onze dochter was helemaal weg van haar en gaf haar tijdens ons verblijf tientallen tekeningen. Dat zegt eigenlijk alles.

We voelden ons gedurende ons hele verblijf echt als koningen behandeld. Op onze laatste avond had het management, samen met de koks, een prachtig afscheidsdiner op het strand georganiseerd. We genoten van een heerlijke verse soep, een frisse salade, een fantastische schotel met verse zeevruchten en een uitgebreide selectie van vers bereide desserts. Als kers op de taart kregen we ook nog een mooi afscheidscadeau. Bovendien nam de general manager, Medhatithi Bhattacharjee, persoonlijk de tijd om ons te bedanken voor ons verblijf en ons een goede reis naar huis te wensen. Dat persoonlijke gebaar maakte een toch al onvergetelijke vakantie helemaal af.

Kortom, dit is een prachtig hotel waar werkelijk aan alles is gedacht om je een ontspannen en zorgeloze vakantie te bezorgen.

Cons:

Let wel op met de tuktuks die voor het hotel staan. Zij vragen vaak een veel te hoge prijs, zelfs voor korte afstanden. Ik heb er zelf één keer gebruik van gemaakt, maar daarna nooit meer.

Vanaf dat moment gebruikte ik altijd de app "PickMe". Via die app zie je vooraf duidelijk hoeveel de rit zal kosten, waardoor je niet hoeft te onderhandelen en niet voor verrassingen komt te staan.

Een andere tuktukchauffeur vertelde me trouwens dat hij gasten niet meer voor het hotel mocht ophalen. Volgens hem hadden enkele chauffeurs die via apps werkten eerder problemen gekregen met de tuktukchauffeurs die voor het hotel stonden en waren sommigen zelfs door hen geïntimideerd.

pleasant and comfortable. not luxurious.
Pros:

Location. Hospitality of the staff. The rooftop bar and the food in the restaurant. everything was good. they welcomed me with a drink and manager was constantly in touch making sure that my stay was comfortable.

Cons:

Everything is good except that the property is a little dated and worn. My room had doors and windows that needed maintenance. Bathroom wardrobe had similar challenge.

Pros:

The staff made this hotel special. Adeesha De Alwis was an excellent stand out for us. He was confident, extremely kind, capable (this mattered), held a calm and composed presence throughout even when it was beyond busy at the front desk, with 100 odds guests checking in or out. The young man represented the hotel with remarkable poise.

Pros:

Property is good food is good .

Cons:

Rooms are stinking with drainage smell. No proper ac . Towels were provided after asking a lot of times. Worst housekeeping . Soaps and shampoos are given in small bottles even though we booked a suite room . Kettle was not clean .

Relaxing Stay !
Pros:

Just loved this hotel! Every room has an ocean view, which makes the experience feel special from the moment you arrive. I also loved the open-air design of the hotel and its beautiful, airy lobbies.

The pool was fantastic, with plenty of lounge chairs and cabanas available, so it never felt crowded. The restaurants offered halal food, which was a huge plus, and the non-alcoholic mojitos were excellent.

Most importantly, the staff went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met, making our stay comfortable and memorable. I would happily stay here again.

Pros:

Location was really good. Buffet was nice. Rooms are not bad.

Cons:

Only provided with 1 key where other hotels provided 2 keys for the room. Had a problem with aircon. Turned ot off due to extreme cold when we arrived from the pool but had a difficulty in turning it on since it got locked.
