The facility and room were all great
I was disappointed with the breakfast. While what they offered was good, there was a very limited choice of items (you ordered from a limited menu of cold food)
Having a view of the ocean was our priority. Having breakfast delivered to our room was a bonus. As was the gas fireplace!!
The shower turn on in our room was a bit wonky.
The room was clean and well provided for. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Parking was good, very spacious room, fireplace was nice, comfortable chairs to sit and view the ocean and a huge bathroom with bath robes.

Good location if you want to take a beautiful walk on the beach---NO ONE in the lobby until 8 am.... Not great if you want to get on the road early...Had two loads of luggage and almost got locked out of the bldg... ie key card worked once but not the second time

The Inn was very clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. We liked the fireplace and seating area. We were lucky enough to have an ocean view, although there was another hotel in front of the Shearwater. The kitchen had everything we needed -- if we had stayed longer, we may have done some cooking. The breakfast was lovely. It was nice to have a balcony too, although it was too chilly and windy to use it -- on a warmer day, it would have been great. The people at the front desk were helpful and kind. We liked being close to a nice restaurant.
Some of the materials in the room were "wonky." For example, the faucets in the kitchen and in the bathroom seemed loose and wobbled around. The wallpaper in the bathroom was coming loose, and I reported this to the management so that they could fix it and avoid mold. It would have been nice to have a fitness facility because the weather was not conducive to outside exercise.
Customer service was exceptional. The view from the baloney was excellent.
We stayed in the one bedroom suite w/kitchen for two nights. The kitchen cabinets were old. Also the appliances. The one-bedroom suite bathroom was small. The toilet was inside by the bathroom tub, rather than the sink. The living room furniture was old-fashioned and uncomfortable. The noise from the traffic could be heard at night.

Nice clean room. The fireplace is nice and cozy. Friendly staff. It’s right next to my favorite oceanfront restaurant, Kyllos. My favorite part about Shearwater is the ocean view and being able to hear it too.
