The rooms accommodated my wife and me very comfortably. They are slightly larger than most Marriott or Hilton properties and are laid out so we weren’t bumping into each other unlike the competition. The view was spectacular, and the outdoor area was well-designed to be both comfortable and esthetically appealing.
The cleaning staff was stretched too thin. 40% of the rooms were checkouts on our first morning there, and despite being out of our room all day, our room wasn’t cleaned by the time we returned at 4:30. We had to call the front desk to get service. Our big complaint was a family who sat outside after dinner and allowed their children to run, scream, and play. We left because it felt like we were in a Chuckie Cheese.
Loved the coffee offered on our floor. Loved the view. Loved the firepit.

We needed a quiet getaway and couldn't have found a nicer spot. We went off season so some things weren't open but that only made it more relaxing. We had a river view balcony and spent hours enjoying the view. The restaurant was delicious, having drinks around the fire was wonderful. Comfortable furniture
Would've liked the tea selection to be refreshed daily. They must do it weekly because every day was less available. Lots of gnats but can't do much about nature on a river
Breakfast was excellent. Accommodations were excellent. Location ideal for walking the village
Can't think of anything
Location on the river and near the village is fantastic.
Nothing
Well kept
Nice balcony view of the river and sunset. Great room layout, chairs, outlets, lighting. Comfortable beds and temperature. Well equipped bathroom with roomy shower. Good cable channel selection.
Everything was great
The view
Everything. Bugs were in TWO ROOMS. I have videos if you would
Hotel was excellent and in a great location. Our only issue was that little was open when we stayed. River cruises and Boldt Castle tours weren't operating.
Our timing! But we were on a long road trip and didn't have much flexibility on when we came through Clayton.
Location was excellent. Staff very friendly.
