Hotel was fine
Pros:

view was great. The server on Sunday morning, Michael was excellent, smiley responsive and took great care of us.

Cons:

the hostess and the server on the 1st day seemed frustrated, aggravated and inconvenienced by us.

I am a tour escort for a bus company. We had 30 people stay at this hotel for one night as part of our tour. I've traveled a great deal befor taking this job and I have never stayed in a hotel with greater customer service. Heather and her staff went over the top to make us all feel welcome. She greeted our bus with a tray of freshly baked cookies. The staff was on top of our stay every step of the way. The coffee service on every floor was a big plus. They also did turn down service with a well placed chocolate.

Great location but the restaurant has not reached its full potential due to quality of the food

The food wasn’t very good. You can tell it is a poorly ran kitchen. If they get the food right, this place will be unmatched

1000 Island Harbor Hotel Exceeds Expectations!
Pros:

The 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel was the perfect place to stay in Clayton. We went for a one night getaway and I have to say, it exceeded our expectations. The property is fairly new, beautifully decorated and maintained, and is also spotless. Our King room was large and comfortable, as well as the bathroom. It is the cleanest room I have stayed in, in many years (maybe ever) and I admit to being very picky about that! We walked the boardwalk near the property, had cocktails and an appetizer at the outdoor bar and watched the sun set in Adirondack chairs along the river. We also had dinner at the Seaway Grille and had a good meal. Every staff member we met was so professional, polite and genuinely nice. You can't go wrong staying here!

Charming hotel overlooking the Thousand Islands
Pros:

You will be very comfortable in this well-run hotel. Setting is breath-taking - step out to the RiverWalk or just enjoy looking out to the Seaway from the expansive hotel patio. Fore pits are a cozy place to be as the sun sets. Good food and fun shops all in walking distance.
