Its was nice but if the issues raised were addressed, it could be better.
Pros:

The location was excellent. Cleanliness exceptional. The pool area is outstanding and beach access was great.

Cons:

The lady at reception was on the condescending side. Its only one particular lady . The spa is not part of the resort but we were refused the contact details for the mobile spa. The fact that you have to pay additional to use the air-conditioning is an issue. I booked a garden room but was given one on the second floor which was noisy throughout the day as the laundry room operates near by. The water in the main shower did not drain easily. The apartment is for six people but the lounge only has couches to accommodate 4 people. There were 2 coffee pods, limited sugar and no milk even though we booked for three people. There should be a double bed in the second bedroom.

It was so relaxed and close to the beach with a big pool and courts for the children to play soccer. Lovely braai area.

It was a waste of money - it was double the price of a hotel for 2 days.

You have to pay for air conditioning in an already expensive residence - unbearable heat
I was asked to write down my CVV number and credit card details for a breakage fee - I thought it was the security was not aware of what he was asking for but when the receptionist confirmed the next day that it is a requirement it was shocking.
You are not allowed to leave until someone counts all the dishes, cutlery, bedding, crockery and towels.
Common bathroom is minute.

Pros:

The staff were always friendly and helpful. The location was on the beach. The apartment was clean and in good condition.

Cons:

The inventory check at the start and end of my stay was a bit excessive.
