We like where it was situated really close to the things we wanted to do and see
That they didn’t have a kids play area
The location wasn’t too bad. 10 minute walk to the beach five minute walk to garlic Lane.
It was on a one-way road so when you got in the car you had to go around the long way it was in a very busy road which made the traffic extremely noisy. Also the pool wasn’t very clean and didn’t get a lot of sun.
The staff were incredibly kind, humble, and attentive. Prana, Andi, and the entire team made us feel so welcome with their warm hospitality. The genuine kindness of the Balinese people truly shines through in the way they care for their guests. They also arranged a beautiful room decoration with small cake piece for my sister's birthday, making our stay even more special. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
The only downside was the late check-in, as our room was ready around 3:30 PM. On departure, we were given only a 30-minute late check-out. Since the room was provided late, it would have been appreciated if a 1 to 2-hour extension could have been offered.
The breakfast was good, but it could offer a little more variety. It would be great to have options like Eggs Benedict and chicken sausages available every day for guests who do not eat beef or pork. We found ourselves mostly eating bread and eggs, as many guests do not prefer chicken curry or other gravy dishes for breakfast. Also, charging extra for machine coffee during breakfast was surprising, as it is usually included at many other hotels.
Solia was centrally located in Legian. East walk to beach, shops, cafes & bars. The hotel was very reasonably priced with friendly staff. We had massages which were amazing!

Solia Legian Bali – A Very Pleasant Surprise
I travel to Bali fairly regularly and, despite walking past it countless times, I'd never really considered staying at Solia Legian.
This visit was a bit of a last-minute booking and, honestly, it turned out to be one of the pleasant surprises of the trip.
Check-in was smooth and efficient, helped by an excellent porter and welcoming reception staff who made a great first impression.
My Premier Room on the 4th floor was outstanding. Modern, spacious and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of storage, a safe, fridge, tea and coffee facilities, a good-sized television and a balcony. The bathroom was particularly impressive, with a large shower and enough bench and shelf space to accommodate all the lotions, potions and travel essentials that seem to multiply in my suitcase.
The facilities are excellent. The first-floor pool and bar area has plenty of loungers and a relaxed atmosphere. Upstairs on the 4th floor is what is described as a jacuzzi, although "small pool" might be a more accurate description. It's larger than expected, a lovely spot to cool off, and has a great adjoining bar.
Breakfast was served in a huge dining room on the 4th floor and was one of the better hotel breakfasts I've had recently. Plenty of choice, an egg station, fresh options, and most importantly a cool, clean and comfortable environment. There is also a restaurant and bar area on the first floor with both indoor and outdoor seating.
The only downside is occasional traffic noise, but that's hardly surprising given the hotel's location on one of Legian's busiest intersections. The flip side is that you're incredibly central and within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars, shopping and the beach.
I was only here for a quick two-night stopover, but I'd happily stay again. Next time I might request a room further towards the rear of the property or perhaps try one of the Deluxe rooms.
