Poor light in the bathroom, shower curtain clinging into my body, no fridge in the room. I had one portion of coffee.

Breakfast was basic but delicious and fresh. The whole place had an old vibe but everything was so clean. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The lady on reception after 2 pm was extremely friendly and helpful with all our questions. Small lift was great to get our big bags to our room.

Great location one block from train station, shopping row and being in old town it is walkable to all sights, restaurants etc. Friendly and helpful staff.
Small things like no tissues in room. No phone to call front desk. Only one plug in entire room for electric converter. One pillow not two. Basic tv but on a rainy night, would have been nice to have a movie channel or two.
It was very close to HB Zurich station and all the shops. The property was clean enough and everything works. Really good service and quality for a 3 star. If I compare this back home, goodness I am really impressed. It's like a total next level.
It was loud. The first night we arrived late coz of late flight. Our family room ( 2 adults, one child) was right in front and this hotel/building has a bar/restau attached. The wall/window wasn't sound proof enough so we heard all the noise from people outside, trains/tram. The second night was still loud but luckily it stopped from around 10pm and just a few random screaming people in between til 2am plus tram. But if you are a party goer and in Zurich to have fun then this is your hotel. Aside from that everything was really good.
Our travel agent recommended this hotel, and we are happy she did! The location is perfect; very walkable to shopping, restaurants and the train station. The train station is a 5 minute walk, and the bus station is a 10 minute walk, making day trips outside of Zurich easy. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed/pillows were very comfortable.
