This hotel is terrible, I don’t recommend it at all. The staff there are very unfriendly. Especially the reception guys. They even tried pushing the door forcefully to enter my sister and mother room. Please avoid it don’t be trapped with the pictures

Im Mai 2026 buchte ich in diesem Hotel eine Suite für 2 Personen und 10 Übernachtungen.
Die 2. Person musste nach 8 Übernachtungen planmäßig abreisen, so das ein Freund der sich bei seinen Eltern in Istanbul befand, die letzten beiden Übernachtungen nach Anmeldung nutzen. Dies wurde vom Hotel nicht akzeptiert, so dass ich noch zusätzlich Übernachtungen Bezahlen musste. Also musste ich für 3 Personen Zahlen obwohl nur 2 Personen anwesend waren. So etwas nenne ich Abzocke
Auf den Bildern des Hotels sah die Suite sehr gut aus, mit Blick über Istanbul und Jacuzzi
am Fenster für 955 Euro.
Wirklichkeit: Der Balkon war, wie auch bei den anderen Suiten in einem Schacht wo das Licht nur von oben einfiel. Das war die einzige Lichtquelle am Tage, keine weiteres Fenster.
Wenn ein Mitarbeiter einer Rohrreinigungsfirma mit seiner Familie in diesem Hotel Urlaub macht, kann er seiner Familie die Gerüche einer Abwasserkanalisation, womit er Täglich zu tun hat, näher bringen. Die Dusche im Bad hat kein Siphon, so dass das Flair der Istanbuler Kanalisation im Bad zu erschnuppern war. Das Frühstück ist wie in anderen Rezessionen nur als sehr Spartanisch zu erwähnen. Alle Gäste waren über das sehr Einfach gehaltene Frühstück enttäuscht. Guter Kaffee, Rührei und andere normale Wünsche mussten extra gut bezahlt werden. Preis Leistung passt absolut nicht.

Location: The hotel is situated right on Istiklal Street, within walking distance of Taksim Square and the Taksim metro station. However, be prepared for the noise, which continues until the early hours of the morning. Overall, the room has decent sound insulation, but street noise can still be heard inside the room.

The hotel was a complete disappointment.

1. Very poor cleanliness: stained walls, mold in the bathroom, dirty marks on the bedspreads, a pillow that smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and noticeable stains on both the lampshade and the sofa.
2. Broken facilities: the shower, shower gel dispenser, bedside lamp, and even some curtain hooks were broken, causing the curtains to hang improperly.
3. Terrible sewage smell coming from the bathroom throughout our stay.
4. Housekeeping was only provided on the third day, and only after we specifically requested it.
5. Towels were worn out and had frayed edges.
6. The in-room safe was not working.
7. Upon check-out, the staff asked whether everything had been satisfactory and then requested my phone so they could leave a review themselves.
8. For some reason, a tiny bathtub was installed inside an otherwise spacious shower area. It is so small that it is only suitable for sitting rather than taking a proper bath.
9. Very limited breakfast selection: only a couple of types of cheese, two salads, several kinds of olives, tea, juice, and pastries. Coffee was available only for an additional charge.

The hotel was not particularly cheap to begin with, yet the quality and level of service were nowhere near what the price would suggest. I definitely do not recommend staying here.

Pros:

The staff is amazing! Very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent. The rooms were clean, a little bit noisy but if you want quiet you have to avoid Istiklal.
