Pros:

Calm and efficient staff, relaxed atmosphere.
Good comfy beds, great breakfast. Good to have a fridge in the room.

Cons:

Staff member entered our room, while we were relaxing and took something out of the wardrobe. Didn't knock 😒

A perfect location for sightseeing and getting around London .
Pros:

The Montana was very close to the underground, museums, Royal Albert Hall (reason for staying there) and places to eat. It was a very elegant looking hotel from the outside and lovely inside, with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was large,bright and even had air conditioning which was a bonus for the hot evening, and the continental breakfast which was included, was well presented and enjoyable. We will certainly stay there again.

Unser Fazit: Wer keine luxuriösen Ansprüche hat und Wert auf eine zentrale Lage legt, kann hier durchaus einen angenehme
Pros:

Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel insgesamt wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist ein großer Pluspunkt: Bus und U-Bahn sind in wenigen Minuten fußläufig erreichbar, sodass man die Stadt sehr bequem erkunden kann.

Da wir tagsüber viel unterwegs waren, haben wir nicht im Hotel gefrühstückt, sondern die zahlreichen umliegenden Cafés genutzt, was für unsere Tagesplanung ideal war.

Leider gibt es zwei Punkte, die unseren Aufenthalt deutlich beeinträchtigt haben. Zum einen war der Wasserdruck in der Dusche in unserem Zimmer in der dritten Etage äußerst schwach. Entweder kam sehr heißes Wasser mit ausreichendem Druck oder bei angenehmerer Temperatur nur noch ein Rinnsal aus der Dusche. Wir haben dies an der Rezeption gemeldet und uns wurde zugesagt, sich darum zu kümmern. Während unseres einwöchigen Aufenthalts änderte sich jedoch nichts, sodass das Duschen jeden Tag eine Herausforderung blieb.

Zum anderen ist uns eine Flasche Cola auf dem Nachttisch umgekippt, wodurch Bettlaken und Kopfkissenbezug verschmutzt wurden. Auch dies haben wir umgehend an der Rezeption gemeldet. Daher gingen wir davon aus, dass die betroffene Bettwäsche ausgetauscht wird. Als wir am Abend zurückkehrten, war das Bett zwar gemacht, die verschmutzte Bettwäsche jedoch nicht gewechselt worden. Der Fleck war inzwischen eingetrocknet und auch am Kopfteil sichtbar. Das hat uns überrascht und enttäuscht. Da wir am nächsten Morgen abreisten, haben wir das Thema nicht nochmals angesprochen.

Die Zimmer sind insgesamt recht klein, ebenso das Badezimmer. Für uns war das jedoch kein großes Problem, da wir das Zimmer hauptsächlich zum Schlafen genutzt haben. Die Sauberkeit war grundsätzlich in Ordnung. Man merkt allerdings, dass das Hotel an einigen Stellen etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist.

Un bonne adresse à Londres.
Pros:

L'établissement est très près de la station de métro Gloucester Road. Cette station est sur la Piccadilly line qui rejoint l'aéroport d'Heathrow ; donc aucun changement pour rejoindre l'hôtel depuis l'aéroport.
Les petits déjeuners sont très bien.
J'avais une grande chambre ce qui est très rare à Londres, climatisée.
Grand lit très confortable.
