Żona powiedziała, że menadżer ładnie pachnie. Świetna lokalizacja. Piękny wystrój ogrodu. Ładne przestronne pokoje. Przemiła obsługa Pani manager, Panie z recepcji ,kierowca i Pan ochroniarz przy drzwiach.

Z mojej strony dodam wspaniały dach na piwo i papierosa, woda w pokoju, piwo w minibarku i nie płacisz sztabkami złota. Wspaniałe miejsce! Czułem że wypoczywam w tym hotelu. Głos ptaków budził codziennie rano.

We loved our stay at Taleju Boutique Hotel, it was amazing value for money and the location was walking distance from shops, restaurants, cafes, lots of good bookstores and tourist sites. The highlight was the staff who were super friendly and went out of their way to help us with both sightseeing in Kathmandu and in preparation for our trekking. The courtyard for dining was beautiful and food/breakfast was great. Would highly recommend for a budget friendly and safe option for Kathmandu.

I think this must be my third or fourth time staying at Hotel Taleju in Thamel, and every single time I come back to Kathmandu, I honestly don’t even consider other options anymore. I’m completely Nepal-addicted, I love trekking, and Hotel Taleju has become my home away from home in Kathmandu.

The location is absolutely perfect: right in the heart of Thamel, close to everything, yet peaceful enough to relax after long trekking days. The staff is one of the biggest reasons why I keep returning — they are genuinely warm, welcoming and caring, and every time they make me feel like family rather than just a guest.

The breakfast is lovely, but what makes it truly special is having it in their beautiful inner garden while listening to the birds singing. It’s pure magic and such a peaceful way to start the day in chaotic Kathmandu.

The restaurant food is also very good, and the overall value for money here is honestly incredible. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, very clean and exactly what you need before and after trekking adventures.

I also tried the spa twice and was genuinely impressed — absolutely up to standard and perfect for recovering after long hikes in the mountains.

One of the things I appreciate the most is how helpful they are with trekkers: they safely store your luggage while you disappear into the Himalayas for 10–12 days, and they always welcome you back with a smile when you return exhausted and dusty from the trails.

They often even include airport pick-up service, which makes arriving in Kathmandu so much easier and stress-free.

I truly cannot recommend Hotel Taleju enough. For me, Kathmandu means Hotel Taleju.

I stayed at Hotel Taleju twice within less than two weeks — before and after my trek — and I can honestly say it confirmed all the reasons why I keep choosing this place whenever I return to Kathmandu.

For trekkers, this hotel is simply perfect. They safely stored my luggage while I was away in the mountains for many days, and coming back here afterwards felt incredibly comforting. The atmosphere is warm, peaceful and genuinely welcoming.

The location in Thamel is excellent: central, convenient and close to everything, but the hotel itself still feels calm and relaxing. The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable, with great beds and everything needed to properly rest after long travel days or trekking adventures.

One of my favorite moments every morning was breakfast in the garden courtyard. Sitting there with coffee while hearing birds singing in the background is such a beautiful and unexpected experience in Kathmandu.

The staff deserves a special mention because they are truly kind and attentive. They helped with everything, always smiling, and made me feel cared for during both stays.

I also tried the spa treatments after trekking and they were wonderful — exactly what your body needs after days in the Himalayas.

Considering the quality of the rooms, the service, the restaurant, the airport pick-up and the overall experience, the value for money is exceptional. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kathmandu, especially fellow trekking lovers.

The location is great for just everything from good local cuisine restaurants to shoppings and convenience.
The rooms and facility is clean and quiet. We were on the courtyard side. It is easy to arrange tours with kind and highly knowledgeable guide like Mr. Hari or multiple day activities up to Anapourna base camp by HL through the desk mgr, Januka.
Great menu choices and breakfast is available at convenient hours.

Great location, tranquil gardens and friendly staff

The location is tucked away in the Tamel neighborhood of Kathmandu. It is very clean. The rooms are basic and clean. The staff was very attentive. The food at the restaurant was very good. Considering the noise and chaos that’s going on outside, the hotel is peaceful and quiet. The patio was beautiful, and our room, being on the 4th floor, had access to a delightful rooftop patio. Really wonderful. Oh, and the security guy out front was very friendly and a pleasure to work with.

There’s not one thing that I didn’t like about this place. From staff (THE LOVELIEST PEOPLE EVER!!!), to location, cleanliness, architecture, food, everything!

Love the peaceful courtyard tucked away amongst the hustle n bustle of Kathmandu. Easy access to all there is in Thamel District.

Central location but very quiet, very nice room, wonderful staff and pretty courtyard restaurant.
