Very poor value for money . Very surprised that a Neemrana was at this level of service

Poorly maintained - particularly since they are so pricey . The staff are absolutely clueless on anything . Food was awful . We could not even get a decent cup of coffee and ended up buying a bottle of Nescafé . Outdoor seating for all meals in hot weather and full on bugs was not enjoyable

For the effort we put to travel all the way to reach there, the overall experience was really disappointing.
Cons:

Many of the local beach visitors have walked in to the property and were roaming around the floor where the guests are residing. Not very well maintained property. The swimming pool was dirty. Food was below average.

Worth a stay with family
Pros:

Woow! Wonderful property on the tip of the sea! You can actually feel the in your doorsteps.

Its place is very simple but highly elegant.

Cons:

When we stayed we are the only one we’re staying so nothing much of the vibe.

Nice. Near to the Beach.
Pros:

The location was fantastic. The Lunch we ordered was really good.

Cons:

The room had a old wooden smell. Pungent and no airy. The bed sheets were dirty and the towels were pathetic. Overall needs a good upgrade.

We had a great time. The Varanda and staff were exceptional
Pros:

The Bungalow is on the sea front so it’s a great view. The varanda is what is unique and special about the property! We spent hours on it.

Cons:

Maintenance has to be substantially upgraded to Neemrana standards

Spectacular historic location on the beach which can be maintained better.
Pros:

Location, location, location
Breakfast reasonable.
Responsive Neemrana management

Cons:

Wall was leaking from the top and one whole
wall was stained and fungus infected. This was in one of the two rooms we booked.
On complaining, a refund was made for that room. Neemrana central management was responsive and that was appreciated.

An exceptional period property on one of Tamil Nadu’s undiscovered stretches of coastline.
Pros:

So many things! After the bustle of Chennai and Pondicherry, the Bungalow was a glorious escape into peace and rest. Tranquebar is a very quiet village with a fascinating history, which allowed me to gain some cultural time combined with relaxation at the hotel. The hotel was in excellent condition and had been maintained like a colonial villa, with antique furnishings and art; the rooms are set around a veranda with garden or sea views. Bed was comfortable and the French doors let in the light and sounds of the coast. Food was exceptional. I enjoyed fresh coffee delivered to my room. The danish fort and museum are right next to the hotel. Perhaps the highlight were the staff: every interaction I had was a delight. From the security man on the gate, to the manager, to the housekeeping, all ready to help with the slightest request and with broad smiles. I wish I’d had another few nights here.
