Excellent location and breakfast, but disappointing management and value for money
Pros:

The location is a major advantage, making it convenient to explore Jaffna. The breakfast was genuinely delicious, and the service from the breakfast staff was excellent. The hotel employees were generally friendly and tried their best to help us. When we reported a leak in our room, it was repaired quickly, which we appreciated.

Cons:

We specifically chose this hotel over cheaper alternatives because of the swimming pool and were willing to pay a higher price for this facility. Unfortunately, the pool was out of service throughout our stay. We were told it had already been unavailable for approximately two weeks and would remain closed for at least another week. This was a major disappointment and should have been communicated before arrival.

Our room also had a defective window that was partially covered with plywood and tape and could not be properly closed. This allowed mosquitoes to enter the room and made it difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature with the air conditioning.

The towels were not sufficiently clean, and we also experienced a leak in our room. Although the leak was repaired quickly, the overall maintenance and cleanliness standards fell below our expectations for a hotel in this price range.

To be fair, we felt that the hotel employees were generally doing their best under the circumstances. Our main concern is the apparent lack of effective management oversight and follow-up.

We raised our concerns and requested reasonable compensation for the unavailable swimming pool and the problems with our room. Unfortunately, we received no response to our complaint or compensation request.

The employees were generally willing to help with immediate issues, but the broader problems with facilities, maintenance and complaint handling remained unresolved. Also I booking.com didn’t answer. The reception blamed they cannot resolve because it is booked via booking.com

Pros:

The staff were very friendly, the rooms were spacious. Facilities in the room were good. Centrally located in the heart of Jaffna.

Cons:

Tv was not working. Pool didn't look clean...

Pros:

Location is good, as close to main sights.

Cons:

Staff unfriendly, bad breakfast, pool was a deseaster ... much too expensive, especially as there was construction work going on. All in all not a nice place to stay.

Cons:

Le rapport qualité-prix laisse vraiment à désirer. La piscine et la salle ne donnent pas accès à la salle de sport ni aux toilettes. Les lits de la chambre sont extrêmement durs, et la douche ne coule pas correctement. De manière générale, la chambre est vieillissante et nécessiterait plusieurs améliorations, surtout compte tenu du prix élevé.

Cons:

Very little to like the room did not have towels, the safe did not work, and the air conditioner broke halfway through my stay. I had to ask for everything to be fixed.
