I did not stay at this hotel. I had to cancel because room was not ready. Way overpriced and toilet seat was busted off. Door to bathroom very very noisy. This is an all cash place and they wanted all money upfront. I walked in and promptly left. Had to pay one day rent to cancel. Well worth leaving.

Very nice place, very clean with manicured gardens.
Location is remote, plenty to do walking around but you need transportation to get to it or anywhere else you might want to go.
Quite and feel at home
We loved the pool, my son and I had a nice splash in the morning. We saw many squirels in the trees surrounding the property. The pool water was clean and enjoyable. Got a nice coffee from the owner, and we enjoyed the breakfast very much. Beds were comfortable.

The room was dirty , broken bedside lights, we took a lot of time choicing a type of room, this request was ignored. Our room faced a shed with old furniture outside. Very disappointing and would never book again.
Drop dead gorgeous artwork throughout the property, within the spacious suite, as well as the common areas. I'm not much of an artesian connesoir, but the place was like an art gallery to me! The French owner was staying at the property during my stay and was so kind as to make me some fresh espresso for me for my early departure (as well as intrigue with his many Thai ventures). I ended up in this town only because traffic was shit, and I wanted to rest. Thankfully, I found Sumali Villa!
Checkin was a little awkward. There isn't any signage for office or reception, and you need to tramp through the pool gardens to reach it. Parking is plentiful, but a good 60M walk. Perhaps most importantly, there are no non-thai restaurants within at least 20K, and I found just 2 serving food at the 6pm hour I went hunting. The new hot pot / BBQ place nearby looked good, but I had just done that the day before, so I went scrambling for something else.

Very friendly hosts, clean and perfect pool and tasteful garden, nice spacious rooms and toilet, great and relaxed atmosphere and tasty breakfast. Easy parking.
