Professional property host/manager
All you need after a long day in London. Clean room, good bed and a hot shower.
Well connected to get into Waterloo station ia Clapham Junction.
I stayed here for 2 nights. The room was clean & comfortable. Its a typical Travelodge room with no frills but its all you need for a night or two.
I slept well and the shower was good.
There was some traffic noise from outside but not excessive.
There isn't a cafe on site but they have various vending machines.
There is a variety of shops/takeaways within a few minutes walk.
Car park on site, it is chargeable at £11.50 per night.
I would stay again.
Exceptional service from Ash & Esley from the second we arrived. Couldn’t do enough for us and were very accommodating.
Hope to see you again soon.
The Salters.
Dirty shabby and noisy , not great location
Just an average hotel , perfect for a few nights sleep for the price . Staff were welcoming and friendly. Offered a quiet room , not sure if it was or not as we used a fan to cut out background noise. They have a couple vending machines but apart from that no service for food or drinks . Housekeeping was excellent, replacing and replenishing during our 3 night stay . Close to bus stop but tube is a bit of distance. Local shops, cafe , pub etc nearby
Worst hotel I’ve stayed in, I was staying on the second floor. a mouse woke me up at 4am and had to leave the hotel early, the corridors and room smelt really bad, staff was not willing to listen.
Great service with Shika always professional and willing to go the extra mile
Overall, it was an adequate place to stay for my trip. Nothing extravagant, but everything I needed was there the room was clean and reception staff was friendly. I’d recommend it if you’re in the area the see Battersea power station and looking for a decent spot without breaking the bank.
ULTRA Basic is being kind and too far away from everything I was there to see.
Stayed for two nights, almost left after first.
No chain on the door or hairdryer which to me are basic amenities. Way more important than a TV. Security should be prime concern. Also, the bed was not made after my first night. Surely that should have been done.
The towels didn’t smell clean and no glass in bathroom.
Needless to say I will NEVER EVER stay at a Travelodge again.
Bad location — isolated and not feeling safe. Far from Battersea Power Station, which was the main reason for choosing this hotel. The premises are old and rather poor. Staff seemed unable to assist with requests. The only truly helpful person was the manager, who managed to move us after our overall disappointment and complaints about the elevator being out of service. She really seemed to listen and care.
Great stay at Travelodge Battersea! The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The bed was very cozy, and everything was well-maintained. The staff were wonderful. Especially Ms.Asmita at the reception was very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. She made the check-in process smooth and made us feel valued as guests. Excellent value for money - I would definitely stay here again.
Having stayed at the Battersea Travelodge for nearly 16 years I've met loads of great staff but today the 2 very nice ladies on reception went the extra mile with my welcome, a great shout out for being professional, polite and very polished , thank you Asmita and Shula .
Shika at the front desk was a wonder. There were problems with the room and she went above and beyond to take care of me
Very friendly staff, especially Shika who has gone beyond expectations of someone who checks In guests. Friendly, quick and efficient!
I stayed here for 3 nights from the 18th to the 20th of February.
Samantha, who checked me in, was very helpful, courteous and welcoming. She helped me out with where I needed to go, places to eat that were fab and easy on the pocket, and ensured the staff were all accessible if I needed anything.
A special shout out also to Asmita (The Manager), and Nilza who were very friendly and accommodating. It is really nice to see Managers looking out for staff and wanting to ensure customer satisfaction.
My room was very comfortable, had most things I needed and was as advertised. The bed was comfortable and it was well-furnished for someone like me, who travels solo on work and research. Please carry shampoo and conditioner.
Thank you all so much again. I will definitely be back here, should I visit this part of London again.
I stayed here for 4 nights whilst working in the area.
The room was comfortable and clean.
The internet signal was poor so I had to purchase more internet access beyond the 30 mins free access.
You have to pay for parking in the car park (remember to validate your parking at registration to get cheaper parking).
One of the members of staff (Shika) was very helpful.
Welcome by Massoud was pleasant and appropriate. Organised my accommodation and needs speedily and without fuss. Shame only one lift working. Hotel is basic and looking tired. All areas were clean and acceptable.
Some rooms in the hotel are not very quiet. Fortunately Shika who was on the front desk helped me find the quietest room available. Thank you Shika.
We booked a family stay and used Battersea as a way of commuting into the city. On the second night at approximately 9pm, a mouse ran out from under the bed. It then ran into the bathroom and hid behind the toilet cistern. We then found mouse droppings in the bathroom and on the carpet indicating that the rodent had been there for a while. My children were then unable to sleep. We were eventually moved rooms but this experience was not acceptable.
We came to see our daughter who lives in Essex and to watch our son do the Battersea half marathon
Lovely hotel room and Mahmood on reception was very helpful and friendly.Parking a steal at £10 24 hours.Lovely 2.5 mile walk to Battersea power station or use the 44 bus which takes you there for £1.75 each.Lots of restaurants and bars along the route and Anchor pub great .Also recommend the Arches cinema at Battersea. No hotel breakfast but nice cafe to the right outside front doors Amora Dolca .Will come again.Room clean warm and even a bath plus tea and coffee.Well done travelodge
