The Cool Hotel was a convenient stay for an early airport trip

The lighting was harsh
There were no amenities in the rooms: no coffee or coffee maker, no tea or tea kettle, no water. There were no wash cloths for the shower. Only 1 bottle of a toiletry: body and hair wash, no conditioner

Very close to airport. Staff goes above and beyond, helpful with every question and service. Restaraunt on site offers a good variety at reasonable prices. The hotel does a terrific job catering to airport passengers. It was a great choice.

Pros:

We stayed for one night after our flight plans changed, and Hotel Cool Zagreb was a great choice for a short stay. We arrived quite late, but the staff were very helpful and welcoming. They even offered us hot water so we could make a coffee, which was a lovely touch after a long day of travelling.

The room was on the small side, but perfectly adequate for what we needed — somewhere comfortable to lay our heads before continuing our travels around Croatia. Breakfast the following morning was a good European-style breakfast with plenty to choose from.

The staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. We also appreciated the transfer back to the airport the next day to collect our hire car.

We didn’t get much chance to explore the immediate area, but it’s around a 20-minute drive into Zagreb. Overall, a very convenient and welcoming place for an overnight stay, particularly if you’re travelling through Zagreb airport.

Nice hotel close to airport
Pros:

It was a very good location for an early flight with a shuttle at a very good price. Restaurant was very nice with good food at reasonable prices.

Cons:

It would have been nice if one could make a cup of coffee in the room.
