Shoestring Cave Hotel was the perfect place for our visit to the beautiful city of Goreme. Fantastic location. Stunning property and unique cave rooms. Lovely pool area and decks to relax and view balloons.Amir was always happy and helpful with our queries and requests. Highly recommend this property. Only wish we didn’t have to leave.
The location, the staff (very friendly), the breakfast, the cats, the pool and simply the fact that this hotel is beautiful. It is built in cappadocian rocks so it is very authentic and the view is stunning.
The WiFi did not work very well when we staid in the hotel

Highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Capadocchia. It is very central. Rooms where really beautiful and smelled amazing. Breakfast was great too. There are also many restaurants close by and 1 mins walk to the centre.

Das Bad hat erst stark nach Putzmittel und dann nach Schimmel gerochen, überall Kalk im Bad, nicht wirklich sauber. Frühstück war nur okay.

Staff - all the staff were fantastic! Really friendly and helpful.
Cave - very cool experience to stay in a cave for a few days!
Terrace - amazing spot for watching the balloons go up in the morning.
Breakfast - brilliant choice of breakfast each morning. Good veggie options too.
Location - so easy to access the town of Goreme whilst being slightly tucked away making for good views and a peaceful stay.
Cats - there were a few cats around which we loved! They’re so sweet!
Location and view of Goreme was perfect. Big shout out to Mehmet on the bar, what a gem. Everything was perfect and the cave room was beautiful.
Water was not restocked and when we needed it, no one was available at reception.
Bon emplacement mais piscine non chauffée et très froide même en septembre. Petit dej sans plus et surtout la chambre m’a été loué alors que la salle de bain était en piteuse état il y avait toute la faillance autour de la baignoire cassée et à même le sol. Il fait très humide dans la chambre
Excelente ubicación y vista a los globos. Desayuno completo. Linda terraza. Nos permitieron dejar las valijas.
El acceso a la habitación que nos tocó en la terraza era un poco incómodo con las valijas, el baño no tenía un cerramiento completo en la ducha por lo que se mojaba todo. En nuestro caso no fue posible hacer el check in antes aunque leí reseñas que otras habitaciones más caras si habían podido hacerlo.
We absolutely loved our stay at shoestring! This hotel is in a perfect location in close proximity to town, with amazing views of Goreme. You can sit on the terraces in the morning and watch all of the hot air balloons at sunrise and the view is breathtaking. Amir was soooo funny and extremely helpful. Whenever we had questions he was always more than happy to help. His English was great and we had so many chats and laughs - he makes you feel so welcome. He arranged a private ATV tour for us, and put us onto good contacts. When there was an issue with our showerhead it was no issue for him - he had it fixed straight away and it was no invconvenience. The rooms were unique, the bed was comfy, and the pool area was a great place to relax. The cocktails were delicious too! We really enjoyed the variety of the breakfast spread. Overall we felt so welcome and would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Goreme!
