Auch für Koh Kood, überteuerte und in die Jahre gekommene Hotelanlage
Pros:

Das Personal an der Rezeption und das Housekeeping waren bemüht, freundlich und haben einen guten Job gemacht. Der Pool ist gross, sauber und gepflegt. Es macht spass sich in diesem zu erfrischen. Das Restaurant direkt am Stand ist ebenfalls eigentlich sehr schön.

Cons:

Unsere Zimmer lagen relativ weit entfernt von der Rezeption und dem Restaurant, das sich direkt daneben befand. Das Frühstück war eintönig und nicht sehr ansprechend. Ab 17 Uhr schloss das Café des Restaurants und es bestand keine Möglichkeit mehr, einen Kaffee zu bekommen. Das hat bei uns als Kaffeetrinkern für Unmut gesorgt. Das Essen im Restaurant hat uns leider nicht geschmeckt. Die Preise sind eher hoch. Das ist für uns nicht nachvollziehbar. Die Liegen und Tische am Strand waren voller Vogelkot oder sonst wie verdreckt. Das ist ein Umstand, der absolut nicht in Ordnung ist. Die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen. Aus der Dusche plätscherte nur wenig Wasser, sodass man eine Ewigkeit brauchte, um den Sand abzuduschen oder generell zu duschen. Für uns hat das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht gestimmt.

Pros:

Hotel ligt wat afgelegen vonden wij, scooter is nodig op dit eiland om alles te bezoeken. Deze zijn direct te boeken via het hotel, gaat allemaal heel soepel.
Hotelkamers zijn prima!

Cons:

Je mist in de avond wat sfeer in het hotel (april) en er is rondom het hotel niet echt een centrum waar je naar toe kan zonder scooter.

Fantastic place to stay

Eine Woche Ruhe und Erholung pur.....
Pros:

Ruhig gelegenes Resort. (10 Minuten mit dem Shuttle vom Hafen)
Wir hatten eine Villa mit Meerblick, direkt am Sandstrand.
Villa war sauber, geräumig und schön eingerichtet.
Freundliche, hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter.
Reichhaltiges und leckeres Frühstücksbuffet für Thai und Farang.
Wie fast überall ist man auf einen Motorroller angewiesen.
Den kann man aber für kleines Geld direkt im Resort völlig unkompliziert mieten.
Kleine Anmerkung: Hunde gehören, wie wohl auf der ganzen Insel, mit zum Inventar dazu.
Kann man mögen, oder auch nicht.

Zimmer und die Bar unten war top auch das Personal am an der Bar, sehr gut.

Cons:

Wir haben einmal dort gegessen und waren nur enttäuscht. Mein Mann hat 40min früher das essen erhalten als ich, wir haben sie auf das angesprochen und man hat uns nur belächelt. Wir haben die andere Abende Mateoasis homestay and restaurant gegessen, empfehlenswert!

Not a luxury experience
Pros:

The pool Villa we stayed in was nice. The place was clean and pleasant.

Cons:

We settled a large final bill by credit card and also booked a private taxi transfer from the hotel to Bangkok. Our paperwork clearly indicated that everything had been paid in full.

When we arrived at the ferry port, we were unexpectedly told we needed to pay an additional 1,000 baht, with no clear explanation. The check-in staff were abrupt and unhelpful, and after around ten minutes of confusion and discussion, they eventually let us board.

Just as the boat was about to depart, we were approached again—this time quite aggressively—with the hotel staff on speakerphone. We were told the 1,000 baht was for a moped rental that had not been included in our final bill. We had reasonably assumed that all outstanding charges had been settled at checkout.

The hotel then claimed they only accept cash for moped rentals, which felt questionable given they had accepted card payments for everything else. As we had no cash on us, we offered to pay electronically if they could send a payment link, but this was refused. Instead, we were told to pay at the boat office on the mainland.

While we were on the boat, the hotel continued messaging via WhatsApp, eventually sending a payment link along with an explanation that the night staff had failed to record the return of the bike. We paid the 1,000 baht via the email link they provided.

If this had been communicated clearly and professionally from the start, the situation could have been resolved quickly and without any stress. Instead, we were shouted at, pressured for payment in a public setting, and repeatedly harassed with inconsistent information.

While we understand that mistakes can happen, the way this situation was handled was completely inappropriate. For a hotel that cost approximately £850 for four nights—plus a substantial checkout bill—we expected a far higher standard of professionalism and respect.
