Perfect location and stay in the castle district, no better way to visit Budapest
Pros:

There is no other location I would prefer anywhere in the city. The perfect spot in the castle district. A short walk to everything, but on a quiet street, with a quiet courtyard tucked behind a lovely bistro. Bus stops right down the street in either direction connect you affordably to the rest of the city, or taxi service can drop you off out front with little other vehicle traffic. The service ofthe staff in the hotel and the bistro was excellent. Couldn't imagine better.

Cons:

These are quibbles: the air conditioning could blow a little colder. We were there for very mild days in May, but even then, the stone of the courtyard can heat up and I have to imagine in the summer months, it'd be good to have a little more oomph to combat the heat.

The lighting in the room was okay, but - as a rule - everything would look better with fewer overhead lights and more lamps, wall sconces, etc.

Fikk et vakkert rom. Veldig fint bad og god seng. En veldig bra frokost, med både buffet og bestilling fra Meny. En vakker indre gårdsrom. Vennlig personale.

Cons:

Ikke aircondition de første dagene selv om det var varmt. Kjøleskapet var ikke kaldt før siste døgnet.

A Budapest Gem
Pros:

What a Gem, around the corner from Matthias Church and walking distance from Buda Castle. Spacious, beautiful and neat rooms. Fantastic breakfasts and dinner to die for. Thank you Tamaz, Andrea and Adam for your hospitality and friendliness. Will strongly recommend the Maison for travellers. And the breakfast pack was an awesome touch of kindness.

Wonderful Stay
Pros:

This was one of the best hotel stays we have experienced. The room was quiet and clean. The food was excellent both for the included breakfast and also for lunch and dinner. The staff were friendly and very responsive to our needs. The location is in the Castle Hill district close to some beautiful buildings and it is also on the bus route for easy access to the Pest side of the Danube. We would highly recommend this boutique hotel.

Tolle Lage, gemütliches Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal und gutem Essen.
Bergbus direkt vor der Haustür. Nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß von der Fischerbastei entfernt, so dass man auch frühmorgens und spätabends entgegen der Touristenströme die Bastei und Matthiaskirche besuchen kann! Danke dem Team und immer wieder Maison Bistro & Hotel.
