Cons:

We stayed at Mayura (Government Lodge) on 15/09/2026, and it was such a third-class experience that we will never visit this hotel again.

Why is a single cup of tea priced at ₹30? It is so expensive and completely tasteless, whereas much better tea is available outside in Badami for ₹10.

Most importantly, the room TV was not working and the remote was completely damaged. There were lizards in the room, making it an extremely unpleasant experience. We never expected such poor service from you.

Your staff stays absorbed in their own world, and the canteen staff just wastes time—they served tea only after being requested three times. If needed, you can check the CCTV footage; I can provide the exact time and date.

Being asked to change the room after informing that a family member is an aged person and unable to go upstairs . continued to allocate a room on the same floor where everytime you have to go through a restaurant where it was not a simple dining area you need to get past through people serving liquor .

How does anyone expect to go through a dining bar and restaurant every time with 4 of us are ladies and kids .

They ensure to call you exactly at 10.53am reminding us for 11 am check out, which shows they don't worry about the guests readiness for check out.

Pathetic bed. I wasn't able to sleep properly. They joined two single beds to make one bed. One mattress was good, but the other was in very poor condition. It caused me back pain.

It's ok for budget. Good position and pleasent environment. Specious breath with fresh Oxygen.

Cons:

Would be more clean. So many unused garbage stored to and frow. Not comfo for eye.
