A great place to stay
Pros:

Breakfast was very good - lots of choice. We were looked after by Marion who was very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet village with no traffic noise so we both slept really well.

Cons:

Unfortunately there is no lift so we had to struggle up stairs with our cases.

Could not fault the Novar in any way, already looking to book for next year to return.
Pros:

Hotel was pleasantly above my expectations and no complaints.

Leuk dorpshotel met gezellige pub.
Pros:

Hotel met dorps karakter. Vriendelijk personeel. Kamer was in orde, beetje oud meubilair wat kraakte. Wel schoon. Ga vooral eten in de pub van het hotel. Prima eten. Parkeren voor de deur. Ontbijt was uitstekend: scrambled eggs met toebehoren.

Oud krakend bed... maar wel netjes (beetje ouderwets)

Nice cooked breakfast.
Just what I was after for my elusive Northern Munros.

Great place to recharge your batteries
Pros:

We stayed just for one night travelling from Orkney and Thurso to Glasgow. We were very tired on arrival but had a late supper and slept really well. Making the next day's drive much easier. And perfect porridge was produced for breakfast.

Food and the staff were all lovely

Cons:

Only one bed side table. Had to use my case to put my phone, drink etc on. A dead wasp on the window frame and it had obviously been there for a while. Not enough plugs by the bed, so I could watch anything on my tablet while it was charging.
