An ideally located accommodation in an excellent part of Mexico City
Pros:

Comfortably appointed facility in a great location requiring some Spanish.
Pros:

Tastefully furnished with well supplied kitchen. The location was convenient and beautifully quiet with loads of restaurants and shopping close
by.

We enjoyed our straight near to the museum, the castle and the park, it’s a safe area. I would recommend it.
Pros:

Good location, and very clean apartment, very spacious. The apartment was big enough for 2 people. Continental breakfast provided which we were unaware of as it was not included at the time of booking.

Cons:

The apartment didn’t provide a kettle as we enjoy our tea and hot drinks: our room was located on the 1st floor on the road side, good view when you look out but can get noisy as night, which we got used to and enjoyed our room.

From check-in to checkout—if you even get in—this place is a disaster. Stay away!
Pros:

This place is a complete disaster. What used to be a decent hotel is now run by people who clearly have no control over their staff.

Security guards are handling guests’ credit card information and somehow that information ends up being used for unauthorized charges. Let that sink in. This is not just bad service—it’s a serious security issue.

It gets worse. I had a confirmed reservation and was still denied entry by the same guards, left outside in the rain like I didn’t belong there. No explanation, no accountability, nothing.

When I escalated the situation, management did absolutely nothing. No urgency, no ownership—just complete indifference. At this point, it doesn’t feel like incompetence, it feels like they tolerate this behavior.

Stay away from this hotel. If they can’t protect your basic safety or even honor a reservation, you’re better off anywhere else.

Cons:

I did not like I was Robbed and locked out with a legitimate reservation. That tells you everything you need to know. This hotel doesn’t respect or protect its guests—whether local or international. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here.

Serious hygiene issue and unresolved complaint

If no bed bugs at room 303, it would be great place to stay

Cons:

We had a very disappointing experience with this hotel.

During our stay, we encountered a serious hygiene issue that we believe was related to bed bugs. Due to this, we were unable to continue our stay and had to arrange alternative accommodation at our own expense since first night until our day of MXCD trip, which cost us over $2,000.

We reported the issue immediately to both the hotel and Booking.com and followed all the instructions given, including contacting the hotel’s reservations department multiple times. Unfortunately, despite several emails and phone calls, we did not receive any meaningful response or resolution.

What was particularly concerning was the lack of accountability and communication. Instead of addressing the situation constructively, our concerns were dismissed, which made the experience even more frustrating.

It has now been over two months, and the issue remains unresolved with no refund received.

Based on this experience, I would strongly advise future guests to consider this when making a booking.
