I stayed in Guwahati Novotel, I loved their services staff were really nice they were polite, at the reception Nayan , Alina and anya were really sweet. Had a great time .

Horrible for a 5 star hotel
Pros:

The staff were okay.

Cons:

The hotel seems haunted, so many things are broken and damaged in the room. The hotel seems well understaffed. We stayed 7 nights and breakfast was same everyday. The location is really bad. It doesn't feel 5 star at all. Its spooky. Its a complete mess. I'd never visit again. I usually stay in vivanta and radisson. Wont make the mistake of choosing novotel again. The staff also seemed desperate for money. They asked us to clear our bill the second day. Vivanta and radissson we always cleared our bills on the very last day. Avoid the hotel its a mess and i feel its gonna shut down very soon. Its surviving through customers who only book meetings and lunch and dinner. The pool area seems abandoned. Imagine a 5 star hotel and they be like we do not serve drinks up there. So just avoid coz you pay the same amount and get vivanta or radisson.

Pros:

The room was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, making the stay pleasant and relaxing. The city view room on the 7th floor was particularly impressive, offering a beautiful and refreshing view of the surrounding area, especially during the morning and evening hours. The higher floor also provided a quieter environment, away from street noise, which added to the overall comfort.

The staff were courteous, friendly, and always willing to assist with any requests. Overall, the combination of a comfortable room, excellent city view, and supportive staff made for a very satisfying stay.
