Overall very good
Pros:

Location, friendliness from staff, good food selection, clean rooms.

Cons:

It was very warm in the room, set the unit to lowest setting & the snowflake symbol but was quite uncomfortable & stuffy overnight.

We will be back! Great family friendly hotel! Friendly staff and very clean! Breakfast was excellen!
Pros:

Breakfast options were great. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They tried their best to get us an early check in, we arrived at 12 pm and had a room by 1 pm. The hotel is very clean and has a nice modern feel. Perfect for families. Bathroom was very clean.

Cons:

Rooms are small. We had 2 beds and 3 people in one room, not a lot of space to pass each other in room with 3 suitcases.

Cons:

My friend and I stayed during the hot weather in Stockport. As soon as we checked into the room we put on the air conditioning, we also double checked the settings and instructions as over time the room didn't get any cooler.
I went down to reception to raise this issue, after checking the receptionist told me the room was showing at 23 degrees, so he set the fan speed as high as possible for us and to the lowest temperature.

We went out for the evening at 5.30 and returned at around 1am. We had left the air con running at full fan speed on temp 19 degrees, but upon arriving back the room, it did not feel any cooler than when we left!

Once again, I had to go down to reception to complain. I was once again told the fan speed had been increased and set to the lowest temperature as the room was still showing as 23 degrees.

We left it an hour, no difference! So we requested a fan, which given that there is no windows, was just blowing hot air around the room. Very little sleep, very uncomfortable.

I will be raising a complaint as this was below our expectations and i didn't appreciate the fan speed for the air con was lowered by the hotel in a heatwave when people need the cool air in the rooms.
What is the point of having air con if guests can't use it to its full capacity?

The body wash was also completely empty. Luckily we had packed some.

Great hotel, friendly staff and fab location
Pros:

Great hotel and location. Very friendly staff especially Caroline at breakfast.

Cons:

Bit pricey when we stayed but that was because it was a weekend of gigs in Manchester but I understand supply and demand ! I'd stayed here a year before for my wedding night and it was half the price so I can't really fault it.
