Good value, clean, clean, modern, hotel - but wish they had healthier options in the restaurant

Room was functional, clean and comfortable

Cons:

Food in restaurant was American and unhealthy. Even the chicken Caesar salad had deep friend chicken in breadcrumbs. Other than that, it was all friend food, pizza and burgers. Still trying to recover.

Communication problems
Pros:

Everything was fine untill I enquired about a dress I had left in the room. A few days later I rang reception. I gave room number and date of stay.all
The information needed. Reception said yes they had it in lost property . I took an hour each way journey. The reception staff messed me about. Even to the point that they almost gave a blue bag with something in it. They snatched it away. So I never got the dress back. I felt played about with..
Why say it was there and then not. Communication problems at best. Goodness knows what at worst.

Good location, helpful staff
Pros:

Staff were very helpful and friendly from the reception check in to the breakfast staff. We needed extra tea and coffee for our room so reception topped us up well.

Cons:

On Saturday early evening we were hoping to have an early dinner due to having evening plans. However although the menu says 24 hour service we were told the kitchen was closed until 6pm. This resulted in us going to the local shop for sandwiches. A little disappointed by this.

The hotel is better than a travel lodge but not as good as a premier Inn.
Pros:

Its location, it was clean.

Cons:

Bed was uncomfortable I couldn’t have slept on it another night. (To hard needed a topper on) my room was overlooking the front and bar opposite was noisy being a new hotel I thought it would have better sound proofing. The food in the evening limited and veggie burger not edible. (Hard and dry) the breakfast buffet was good.
