LUX Hotel 5 mins walk from port of Piraeus and metro station

The smell coming from the air conditioning in the room was absolutely terrible. It smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and sewage/toilet odors. I could barely sleep or breathe properly, and my chest felt very heavy because of the poor air quality. I was forced to keep the window open throughout the night just to be able to breathe. This was a very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience.

It was awful. A nightclub located right underneath the hotel playing super loud music, not being able to sleep from 11pm till 0630 the next morning. Just horrible.
The elevetor is also making a lot of noise when it's going upwards. So when the music stops at 6:30 the elevator will keep you awake till you can't bear it any longer.
I complained and left the hotel the next morning. However the kept the money for one night. Better to sleep in the street.

Yes, that night club really is THAT noisy. Until after 7 a m..in my case. I got back to the room right before midnight and everything was ok still. Then the music (and I mean Greek pop-folk music who is an acquired taste) started blasting. I am usually pretty insensitive to noise, that's why I took my chances with this booking. But even I couldn't take it after some hours of dozing in and out of sleep.
I managed to sleep a couple hours with the earplugs but the bed was indeed vibrating. It was LOUD. When I saw that they don't stop even after 7 a.m. I went down to talk to the few club people. The DJ and some barlady said that during the week they are obliged to stop because there are nearby institution buildings. But during the weekend, they don't really have a cutoff time for the music...
However, around 7:30 a.m. the music finally stopped and I could sleep until checkout. If you don't have the luxury to do that and you need to wake up early, especially in the weekend, just trust all the other travelers and don't book it. You will definitely regret it.

Alcune camere sono sopra un locale che mette musica da discoteca fino alle 6 di mattina e non ci sono i vetri isolati per il rumore.

Nobody on site, very small room, very noisy bar next to it to (music till 6am when we left).
I would not stay for more than 1 night.

the noise from midnight up until the morning was insane. bring GOOD earplugs if you want to sleep. the bathroom had a puddle around the toilet.

Habitación muy pequeña, pero lo peor fue el no poder dormir por la noche! Siempre leo las reseñas y confío en que la gente sea una exagerada, pero esta vez no! Dos bares con la música en el exterior a todo volumen, y le da igual que haya 3 personas que 50, hasta las 7 por lo menos no cierran y está justo debajo, suena demasiado dentro de la habitación la 201 un horror, prefiero pagar algo más que tirar 50 euros por una noche sin dormir.

Wasn’t super clean, pillows on bed were yellow and overused. Had a non smoking room that smelt very badly of cigarette.
