Important information:

This is a grade2 listed building with 3 floors and we have no elevator anyone struggling with mobility issues may struggle to navigate the many stairs and long halls of this wonderful historic building.

Bars and Restaurants will stay closed on Sunday and Monday.

Bar & restaurant open Tuesday- Saturday. Food service from 4 pm- 9:30 pm.

Booking Fee: This amount is charged to cover the cost of services like 24/7 customer support, technology tools, and guest promotions. The booking fee is charged upon confirmation of booking.

Reception is open from 2 pm.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Pros:

The staff were very friendly and tried to help.

Cons:

The tv did not work and could not be fixed. I had 2
wall lights and a lamp in my room and only 1 light
bulb. I had luke warm water in my room. The carpets
in the corridors were not attached.

Decent value for money, nice and central location.
Pros:

Nice and comfortable room, staff were lovely.

Cons:

Cleanliness not perfect - carpets a bit mucky and armchair in the room heavily stained.

Being part of a lively pub, was woken a few times at 1/2am by guests coming upstairs shouting.

It was a pleasant enough stay for what I paid.

Convenient but very rundown site - staff very friendly and helpful

Pictures from the site are obviously from when first built- very rundown, they’re trying to improve but place is generally tired

Cons:

Felt like i was staying in a hostel. Corridors crooked and not all hallways carpeted. Felt dirty. Wont stay again, which is a shame as i visit Stokesley frequently.

Cheap and cheerful - no parking
Pros:

Very dated but clean. We booked a room with extra fast WiFi and allocated parking the hotel had neither!! Only public parking. Tried to take this up with booking .com and hotel neither are interested, in our over payment.
