A boutique hotel with helpful staff and delicious breakfasts.
Pros:

The staff was very helpful. When I needed to take a bus to a concert venue on the other side of town, they explained how to do it and even lent me a transit card. It’s easy to get Ubers right near La Palomilla. The room had a binder with useful recommendations on what to do on Mondays when most of the museums are closed— so we took their advice and discovered the free “Museo Vivo del Muralismo” where we
discovered dozens of amazing murals by Diego Rivera. This hotel used to be a mansion that was converted into a Bed and Breakfast and each room is uniquely styled with cute Mexican decor—our room was the “Lucha Libre” room. They can arrange for massages in your room— we took advantage of that and thoroughly enjoyed our massages. The breakfasts were outstanding and included freshly squeezed juices, homemade jams, pastries and Mexican breakfast specialties. When I craved a little more protein for breakfast, they even gave me made-to-order eggs.

Quiet stay in Roma Norte
Pros:

Located in Roma Norte, just a block from Condesa, La Palomilla is a small family-run establishment with seven guest rooms on a quiet residential street. The location provides easy access to both neighborhoods while remaining removed from much of the traffic and noise.

The rooms are on the small side, with limited storage for personal belongings. There are a few open shelves and a small rack for hanging clothes. There is also a long shelf above the bed, which came in handy. The king bed was firm but comfortable. The room also had a desk and chair.

The bathroom was average in size, with a good-sized shower, good water pressure, and reliable hot water. However, the water temperature was touchy and needed to be adjusted continuously to maintain a consistent temperature.

The Wi-Fi worked well in the downstairs common area but not in our room. There was supposed to be a separate login for the guest rooms, but I never saw it listed among the available networks. The room did have plenty of outlets for charging electronics.

This is a homey place with friendly service. They offer juice and cookies in the afternoon. Breakfast is a full meal, starting with fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola, followed by a main plate that changes daily. During our stay they served chalupas with pork, huevos al albañil, and vegetable enchiladas. If the main dish does not appeal to you, they can usually offer something more to your taste. Everything we tried was well prepared and tasty.

Cons:

small room with limited storage. Not good Wifi in the rooms.

Absolutely loved my stay and would go back!
Pros:

I think I found this place through a travel blog and I'm glad I did! The location was great and everyone was so kind and helpful. The breakfast was made fresh every day and it was absolutely delicious. I was in the Emo room which has a bathroom in the hall, but it wasn't an issue for me at all and I stayed for a week. It's right across the hall and locked the whole time. I was traveling solo and the place was clean, quiet, and had great decor. I really appreciated the staff who were there during my stay: Aida, Elvia, Gaby, Eduardo, and Gerardo. They were fantastic.

Great stay - would highly recommend!
Pros:

Great location. Excellent breakfast. Communicative and lovely staff. Was a great stay and really enjoyed meeting the other guests around the breakfast table in the morning.

Cons:

The hallway can be quite noisy as there are no soft furnishings/carpeting to absorb some of the noise, so it would be advisable to BYO ear plugs, however if you forget them there are ear plugs provided in the room (which is a nice touch!).

Wonderful place to ground your trip in CDMX
Pros:

We had a lovely week staying at La Palomilla! It was our first time in Mexico City and the b&b was a perfect way to ground our trip. La Palomilla was on a beautiful quiet street, well located, and the space is decorated beautifully and kept well clean. We were grateful for the hospitality, particularly Elvia's kindness and flexibility in helping us navigate our plans. The breakfasts each day are beautifully crafted and delicious - such a great way to start the day. One thing to note is that the rooms are not particularly soundproof (or at least in the Jr. Suite) and the space is quite tight. Because of this, you can hear the doors opening and closing on your floor and also hear sounds through the courtyard at the start of breakfast (this is helped by keeping the bathroom door closed). They provide ear plugs but those sensitive to noise may want to consider this in their decision.

Charming Inn close to everything you need
Pros:

We had a great stay here in the Tolu room. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with everything we needed. They served wonderful breakfast each day with fresh fruit and coffee/tea/juice. It is in a great location as well. Close to many shops and restaurants. The street it is on is also quiet. If I were to ever come back to CDMX, I would book here again in a heartbeat.

Great staff but terrible wi-fi
Pros:

Positive
This B&B is well situated for Chapultepec attractions. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. The shower is excellent. The bed was comfy. There is also a nice roof terrace to chill out.

Negative
The room was too small for the price. There was no room for luggage. The wifi did not work at all in the room. It only worked in the lobby area. It can be noisy at night time with other guests coming and going.

Für einen Aufenthalt in Condesa zu empfehlen!
Pros:

La Palmilla was charming with a wonderful staff, and in the perfect location.
Pros:

Our master suite was charming and comfy, with a good-sized bathroom. The staff was wonderful, with special shout-outs to Elvia who made us feel at home right away, Aida who gave us breakfast, and Gerardo who helped with luggage and put together bags of takeaway snacks for us when we had to leave for the airport too early for the hotel's breakfast. All were so kind. The location was perfect--walking distance from Bosque de Chapultepec and its museums and zoo, so many good restaurants (with vegetarian options too), and Parque Espana and Parque Mexico and the surrounding neighborhoods, beautiful and with lush plants and trees. My daughter and I slept well after full days of exploring. I'm so glad I chose Palomilla!
