Excellent breakfast and dinner
Kudos to the staff lady Who so diligently helped us move from our first room to the second. We had requested the move because of the wedding right next to our first room. She was so so helpful and pleasant. She had long hair and was an attractive, middle-aged woman, many thanks to her.

3 of us had 3 separate rooms during our 2 night stay, the reception staff were very welcoming, rooms were immaculately clean and very well maintained as was the full hotel top to bottom, beds super comfy, bathrooms sparkling & spotlessly clean & overall room size was large with adequate storage for clothes etc. In the morning guests are welcomed in to a really pleasant dining room by a lovely bright & bubbly lady member of the hotel staff. After being shown to your table, guests can place their orders from a wide selection of quality cold or hot food & drinks. Evening meals were really nice & correct portion sizes for ourselves. The hotel is excellent, well maintained, all staff super friendly, food was excellent & priced to suit most budgets. We can highly recommend a stay at New Inn Hotel & we’ll be returning guests when in the area again. Excellent!!!!

Excellent in every way - great food, warm welcome, good service, perfect location.
We live in Ellon and eat at The New Inn regularly - just ourselves, with friends or with family - in groups of different sizes from two to twelve.
We can recommend The New Inn wholeheartedly.

We had a family meal in this very attractive spotlessly clean hotel.Staff were welcoming and friendly. Exciting new menu which was difficult to choose from, I loved all! First class service as was the food. Highly recommended and I’d advise to book as it’s a very popular place.

We were here recently to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday.
We opted for a cocktail making class/Afternoon Tea.
The Afternoon Tea was delicious, a great selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones & fine pieces. We then had a brilliant time learning how to make 3 cocktails in a private room and nothing was too much bother.
Afterwards, we headed down to the bar for an evening of live music, which finished off our evening perfectly!
A big shout out to Kathleen, Ryan, Will & Megan for looking after us.

Nice location

We stayed at The New Inn Hotel in Ellon while attending a family wedding nearby and we were delighted with our choice.
The first thing that stood out was the friendliness of every member of staff. They are an absolute credit to the hotel—nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay.
A special mention for the kindness shown when our nephew phoned to ask if he and his family could call into the hotel to get changed before the wedding. After checking with reception, they didn’t just say yes—they very kindly gave them a room to change in. Such a thoughtful gesture that went above and beyond and one we really appreciated.
We had dinner in the hotel the evening before wedding and it was excellent. The breakfasts were equally enjoyable with plenty of choice and everything well prepared.
We would highly recommend The New Inn to anyone visiting Ellon, we wouldn’t hesitate to return.
