The location was great, car park was handy and staff were friendly! We also loved Dexter's the restaurant in the hotel. Would definitely stay again!
Breakfast
Room was dark as window was tiny, fridge didn't work, some lights didn't work
Staff, accommodation & food is excellent
The bed on this occasion was quite hard
Comfy rooms with lovely decor. Great location. Fabulous food.
Personally I don’t like a pod coffee machine.
Breakfast was very good, the restaurant is excellent. Laugharne is a beautiful place to wander around.
Some Staff could have been a little more attentive, but mostly very friendly.
Lovely spacious room with aircon (yipee!) in this delightfully quirky building. Dinner at Dexters was great, albeit a rather warm and stuffy room. Great breakfast and perfect location to explore beautiful Laugharne.
Good bed, excellent room. Full of history.
Bar didn’t open until 1500 😩
Traditionelles Hotel mit viel Charme. Das Restaurant mit seiner exklusiven Fleischauswahl ist aussergewöhnlich gut.
Einiges ist schon in die Jahre gekommen
Excellent value in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the castle. Very comfortable rooms, free car park, delicious breakfast and a very nice, hot shower - what more can you ask for? Truly a 10/10 property in my opinion. Perfect for exploring Pembrokeshire, Brecon Beacons or staying local.

staff were all very friendly and helpful
The location of the hotel was very convenient for the town and surroundings of Laugharne. My room was in the outside annexe. Although there was a double bed, the room was quite small with sloping ceilings either side of the bed which made it appear even smaller. There was everything you needed in the room with plenty of plug sockets. There was a large TV, coffee machine, kettle and mini-fridge, iron and ironing board, air conditioning unit and a fan which were a bonus in the extreme heat. The duvet could have been swapped for a lighter summer one; the heavier, winter duvet was still on the bed which was too hot for the summer heat. Didn't eat at the hotel but heard the food was good
The en-suite shower cubicle was a little tired and could do with some attention. It was OK for an overnight stay but I thought it was a little expensive for what it was as there was no breakfast included. The air conditioning unit and fan were extremely noisy and ear plugs were required.
Loved the old world atmosphere. Staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful. They accommodated our dogs so well.
Nothing ! Loved the decor !
The property itself , the building . The bathroom was superb , the bed comfortable as well as the pillows . Mirrors were positioned well and plenty of them . Restaurant was lovely , staff superb .

Lovely hotel & food very nice
Be careful on the downstairs toilet. Light came on after I had missed the step!
The decor in the hotel was nice
The roll-top bath with the shower over it was challenging to get into for a shower, as it's on a platform and high to get into. It's nearly up to my waist as I am short. So with anyone with accessibility issues should be aware its not really that accessible and there are no handles to assist getting in and out.
The room was well appointed and comfortable. The staff had been thoughtful enough to have put the air conditioning on before our arrival which was most welcome after a long hot journey. The food in Dexters Steak house was good quality and great value for money. The choice at breakfast was extensive and the produce was top quality.
We didn’t like the fact that breakfast was only served from 8-9.30. We stayed overnight on Saturday so thought this was a bit early for a Sunday morning. Also we thought a 10.30 check out was too early.
