OK but we are unlikely to stay there again

Our room was comfortable but the fans from the kitchen were vibrating sounds into the room - staff kindly switched them off at night but they came on again early the next morning and woke us up- we also felt the bar smelt as if it could do with a deep clean - staff weren’t unfriendly but were not engaging

A spectacular place to stay !
Pros:

A really fantastic hotel , with all the lovely extras in the huge bedroom. Really welcoming & attentive staff, delicious food - and so reasonably priced . Can definitely recommend it 100 %.

Very comfy and pleasant stay at Brown’s.
Pros:

It was very convenient for the event we were attending. The room was comfortable with a good TV signal (we stayed on a very wet weekend!). The restaurant was very good, specialising in steak. The steak we had was beautifully cooked. The breakfast too was very good. The hotel is in the village and so easy for a walkabout to see the castle & Dylan’s boathouse etc. There is a small car park & we were able to park there on the two nights we stayed.

Cons:

We were allocated a room called St Ishmael. It was very comfy and had everything we wanted, but it only had one very small window so no daylight and fresh air.

I loved it. I will be returning.
Pros:

The hotel was beautifully decorated with plenty of lovely spaces for quiet, or mixing with people. The dining room Dexters was very dramatic which added to the ambiance.

Cons:

Perhaps a little more attention to cleaning, in the bathroom of our room.
A personal preference is that I like daylight but the room description at the point of booking, did not indicate that there was only one very small window.
