Convenient location for an overnight stay.

It was an ok overnight stay.

Cons:

There were only towels for one person and we had to ask separately to get towels for the second person.
The room was not properly cleaned.
It was expensive for the price payed and because of the price we had higher expectations generally.

Poor quality and poor value , dirty with unhelpful waiting staff

Cons:

It was not clean. The bedrooms were not clean and you had to request your room to be cleaned.
The breakfast cold counter had very little choice. Once items were finished they were not replenished even an hour before breakfast was finished. The tables weee covered in crumbs and I noticed a used sticking sitting plaster in the window blind. Staff were sitting in their phones and I had to find them to ask for milk and toast. Hot food was tasty . Reception staff helpful. Rooms had mould and water stains in the ceiling and could hear all the conversations in the adjacent rooms

Prima, heel fijn verblijf gehad!
Pros:

De kamer lag aan de zee zijde, erg mooi! Het ontbijt was goed, soms wat onhandig geregeld. Niet alles was in buffet vorm.
Het restaurant had ook zeezicht, wat heel fijn was. Lerwick was makkelijk te belopen en het wandelpad langs het hotel was erg mooi naar beide kanten toe.

Cons:

Het avondeten was wat onduidelijk geregeld: was reserveren nodig? Het restaurant was voor de helft onbezet, maar toch was er geen plaats en moesten we in lounge wachten.

Great location, great room and wonderful staff

Amazing meal
Pros:

Have often been here, but last night's meal was possibly the best I've ever had, the scallop starter and Main were an absolute triumph. Easily worth five stars for the food alone, thank you

Nice Stay
Pros:

The Lervick Hotel is a fairly large hotel that’s about a 15-minute walk to downtown. It offers free parking.

The room was comfortable although a little dated. Lots of tv channels. The shower was disappointing- weak water pressure and a shower curtain that was too short. Coffee pot was unduly complicated and difficult to use.

Breakfast was included in our room rate. It consisted of a continental buffet and à la carte hot items. The buffet was lame but the hot food was very good.

Front desk personnel were very helpful. Housekeeping did a great job.

Overall, I found the hotel to be a decent option in Lerwick.

Stay away from this hotel.

Cons:

Room was tiny, dated and uncomfortable. The towel heater was right next to the toilet. The food at the restaurant was mediocre. Had to wait 40 minutes for our dinner.

Would deffo go back just for the veiw in front of Da Sletts
Pros:

Right first and foremost the location, right in front of the main bay into Lerwick, the wildlife right in front of the window .( personally my favourite was the gannets diving first thing in the morning) artic turns , dolphins, minke whales .
The hotel itself was excellent, the staff were brilliant and friendly even though they were short staffed. Breakfast was excellent, great choice. Dinner again was excellent and going by the fact it was always busy told me they have got the eating experience there spot on .

Cons:

If I had anything negative to say about the hotel it would be the rooms , they are a bit dated , not sure if I could say 80s or early 90s but the alarm clock had an iPod charging dock on it , old fashioned wardrobes . But the room was spotless , plenty hot water !
