SpringHill Suites by Marriott Navarre Oceanfront

I didnt like the fact that when I checked in I told the front desk I had NO vehicle. Then they charged my card 150.00 for incidentals? but they did say I would get that back. When I checked out I was charged 80.00 for parking. I again told them I had NO car. They did take it off but that was purely annoying. I didnt get fresh towels the third day I stayed. And the breakfast wasnt very good. The eggs were aweful. Plus there was no keurig coffee machine in the room and didnt like the coffee they had. They didnt open till 7 so I went without coffee for hours. I am an early riser. I would probably not stay again. One thing I will say the pool although it was smaller than I thought was really great. The lazy river was fantastic. The beach was nice but it was rough waters. I stayed in the pool most of the time. The shower outside by the pool to clean off the sand was broken. And the hot tub didnt work no bubbles just hot. When I told the dessert parlor they said they would tell someone but they didnt. Just seemed like nobody really cared about the client. the bed was really harder than I expected of what they charge for a room Hampton Inn has softer beds. The pool was a disappointment. It looked way bigger in the picture. The front desk wasn't friendly. The restaurant staff not breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. Food good. The body wash was empty and they give you only one small bar of soap. I spent over 800 dollars for 3 nights and it's over priced to say the least. My room was never cleaned or vacuumed on the floor where there is sand that i had everywhere. my bed was not changed once. only two days i got new towels For the price this was unacceptable. I can see this in a cheaper hotel but this was supposed to be more on the upper level. I think they cut corners way too much and they dont seem to concentrate on the customers.

They don't disclose parking fees. Conveniently oversold on oceanfront and refuse to refund the difference in rate.

The fact that they set up umbrellas all along there beach front and only leave a couple places for people that have there own and don’t want to pay $50 for theirs just for them to kick you out a 5:00 o’clock

Main complaint is that, in the three nights that we stayed, our room was not cleaned once. Not once! For the price of the room I found this very off=putting. Some of the staff were rude. I had an encounter at front desk regarding getting my room cleaned. Was told rooms are only cleaned every other day. When I countered that this was my third day, she offered to give me some clean towels that I could take to the room myself! Also had disappointing experience in the Beachfront Bar. Hostess and waiter acted like they were put out…ended up going to bar to get our drinks and closing our tab. Bartender was very nice!

They charged my card 3 times, had to keep going to the front desk to get corrected, the breakfast is nowhere near what it used to be, on top of room cost you have to pay for parking, the internet is non existent unless your in the lobby, pool was always full of sand, I don't recall anyone cleaning it aside from straighting chairs up

They didn't clean the rooms until we asked. We were checked into a dirty room and had to change. Staying at the beach was hard not to get sand in your room without supplies or a person to clean. We had to get our own supplies, coffee, soap, etc.

The dog potty area was a little small.

Beds were a little hard but worked.

breakfast was a little small for how big the hotel is. Battery for the door lock broke had to be replaced by maintenance but other than that it was a great stay!

I am extremely disappointed with this hotel. The room was very dirty, especially the floor. It was never properly washed, even after we complained—our feet turned black just from walking in the room. The bed linens were changed only once during our week-long stay, and only because we asked. Bright lights from the alarm system kept flashing at night and made it difficult to sleep. The shower also drained very poorly. Be sure to check your bill carefully because they may add extra charges.

We were a little surprised that parking on an open, outdoor lot was $25! Front desk personnel were so busy when we left, we could not wait to tell them that the air conditioning fan was rattling in our room

Chocolate milk was sour (very). Pool was dirty. Floor in room was dirty and needed to be swept.

For the price of the room it was a little much. Also $25 a day plus tax to park for the night was ridiculous
