All the facilities were excellent. Since it was our honeymoon, the hotel provided a room upgrade and a special gift. The breakfast was outstanding—easily the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever experienced. There was a wide variety of tropical fruits, and perhaps because Sanya is famous for them, we could enjoy as much fresh coconut meat and water as we wanted. We also had unlimited access to various egg dishes, including omelets and scrambled eggs.
Beyond breakfast, the other restaurants in the hotel were also superb. We visited **Barbacoa**, an outdoor restaurant focusing on meat and seafood, and the harmony between the fresh ingredients and seasonings was fantastic. Additionally, the restaurant where we had breakfast transformed into a hot pot venue in the evening. It was great being able to pick and choose our preferred fish, vegetables, and meats, along with a diverse selection of fruits.

The hotel’s facilities, such as the gym and swimming pools, were highly satisfying. The gym offered both indoor and outdoor workout areas. It wasn’t just equipped with standard machines, but also had a variety of functional equipment like kettlebells and medicine balls. It was honestly the best hotel gym I’ve ever visited. For swimming, we used the 12th-floor rooftop pool and the ocean pool. They were perfect for swimming, and the pool staff were all incredibly friendly. Another impressive feature was the pickleball court. You can play for free simply by making a reservation, which allowed my wife and me to have a really fun time together.

What truly sets this hotel apart is having a dedicated staff member to take care of you during your stay. From the moment we arrived until the end of our trip, **Julie** took exceptional care of us. She thoroughly explained the available services and even recommended great tourist spots around the hotel. We couldn't help but be deeply moved by her meticulous attention and warm service. Especially, what we could never forget is a letter she wrote in my language, which made us almost crying. Meeting Julie was one of the luckiest moments of our honeymoon, and choosing The Sanya EDITION was the absolute best decision we made.

We loved all of the restaurants, and the service at the Beach Club was outstanding. The Beach Club itself is beautiful, with a wonderful atmosphere, excellent food, and exceptional service. The pool restaurant at the Beach Club is also fantastic and definitely worth visiting.

Everything in the hotel is impeccabl, spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and with an amazing signature scent that makes the whole experience feel luxurious. We also loved that the bathroom amenities are from Le Labo; the shampoos, creams, and toiletries are all high quality and smell incredible.

Our favorite dining experience was the Mediterranean Restaurant, which was simply excellent and the best restaurant in the hotel.

Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sanya.

Girls’ trip in Sanya Edition was wonderful, fulfilling all we dreamed of. We would like to give a big credit to our butler Julie who was very helpful during our stay. I would say it’s an absolute 5 star review

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. From the moment of our arrival until our departure, we were warmly welcomed—starting at the reception desk—until Julie, a staff member, approached us with a smile. She escorted us to our room and gave us a tour of the hotel grounds, pointing out the children's play areas and the breakfast hall. She was wonderful, and I wish her continued success in her career; my family extends a special thank you to her. As for the room, it was comfortable and clean, while the hotel's location is excellent, being situated close to the Free Zone. The swimming pools were all clean, the breakfast was excellent, and all the staff members were wonderful, providing outstanding service. My thanks go to the entire staff at this hotel, and I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

This was definitely a very pleasant stay. I didn’t expect to have such a wonderful time in Sanya. This was basically a result of a wonderful team, which is lead by a great general manager- Jordi Villegas. A whole team works perfectly and maintains the facility at a world’s highest standard.
Food, infrastructure, gym make a perfect addition to the sun and fun.

The location is excellent, and The Sanya EDITION offers one of the best pool experiences. The hotel features a variety of pools and water activities, while the poolside service is outstanding, with great food and music. The staff are welcoming and attentive throughout the stay. One thing worth mentioning is the laundry service, which is extremely efficient.

I was fortunate to co-host a large 700+ people week-long corporate event at The Sanya EDITION in April 2026 and would like to rave about the exceptional experience General Manager Edward and his team provided to our guests.

The arrival experience was excellent, and James always made a great impression. Julie also contributed greatly to making check-in smooth with her kindness and positive energy.

The housekeeping team was great, and I particularly noticed MongMei from the laundry team.

The operations team led by Jordy and Chef Marcus did a splendid job throughout the week. Alan was also a joy to deal with at the bars.
Elish at the gym was lovely, and Colin made my very early check-out seamless.

Overall, the resort is a very polished operation and offers event planners an extraordinary partner to work with. Great job to the entire team!

Had an incredible stay at The Edition Hotel. The facilities are fantastic and the food across all the restaurants was consistently top quality.

A special shoutout to Marine, who was such a lovely host and an absolute pleasure to meet – she really made our experience that bit more personal. One of the best experiences for my family. Very modern and comfortable hotel, everyone was very friendly to us. A lot of interesting places for children. Our manager Julie was amazing, always smiling, making fast and smart decisions. Her professionalism was much better than Maldives hotels provide.
